Hey TYM,
I remember years ago there was a Car thread in the off topic forum, I figured with the new game (IGAU) coming out and given that there are a lot of new members on the site I would make a new Car thread. Any new (or old) gear heads out there in the MK/IGAU community?
Personally I have been into cars for about 12 years (working on cars, modifying cars, engine swaps, etc).
I have owned the following cars (in order):
1991 CRX (stock motor w/ bolt ons) sold
1991 CRX HF (b16a DOHC VTEC swap with bolt ons) sold
1991 240sx hatch (twin cam KA with bolt ons) sold
1989 240sx hatch (SR20det swap with bolt ons) sold
1993 NX2000 T top (SR20det swap, built motor) sold
1987 Mazda RX-7 Turbo II (stock) sold
1993 Mazda RX-7 Twin Turbo w/ new motor and many upgrades (current project)
2008.5 Mazdaspeed 3 w/ many upgrades (current daily driver).
Here is a pic of my Mazdaspeed 3 (upgrades are: CPE front mount intercooler/piping, HKS BOV (recirculating), CPE upper radiator hose, CPE power steering cooler, Cobb SRI, Cobb Turbo Inlet, Cobb Shift Weight, Turbo XS catless downpipe, Street Unit Catless midpipe, OBX 3" exhaust, Upgraded Cam Driven Fuel Pump Internals, Iridium ITV22 SPs, Cobb Accessport (currently running the OTS Stage 2 plus 93 octane tune at approx 20psi boost), Street Unit RMM)
Here is a pic of my twin turbo 93 RX-7 project (in progress):
(upgrades include: New JDM 13B REW Twin Turbo rotary motor and transmission, Eibach springs, pettit racing shocks, braided stainless lines (clutch, brakes), Greddy intercooler and piping, greddy intake elbow, Sard BOV, Godspeed Aluminum Radiator, emissions system and air pump removed, HKS dual intake, HKS 3" downpipe, PFS 3" exhaust, polished turbo piping and more that i probably forgot to list)
Lets see what the other MK gearheads have!!
