It is a Western event. It may include some things from eastern companies, but mostly things that the Americas already know about, like Capcom.

It's like how Tokyo Game Show showcases mainly Japanese games. The games at TGS that weren't Japanese were basically just EA and Microsoft.

Capcom definitely omitted the impending arcade release of their brand new game because Americans would be confused and frightened by the word Arcade. The words PC however are soothing and comforting to them, so they included it.

I mean, barcades are becoming a thing, but I doubt it'd be a resurgence in the importance of arcades.

I don't disagree that arcades are dead (although 16bit in lakewood is pretty amazing and has an ae machine), but the idea that capcom would skip referencing it at an internationally viewed and attended event because lol, america is absurd. This isn't some obscure tentacle porn schoolgirl simulator, its whats bound to be one of the biggest releases of 2016.

Also, let me say, if THIS in its entirety is the SF5 reveal Capcom have literally set the bar lower than ever before. MKX, Xrd, even fucking DoA5:LR went in harder then this without even trying.

I don't get it, IT'S THE SAME, why they bother to called it SFV? If they want to compete better improve this because MKX and GGxrd will steal the show.

I don't give a shit about how it looks, I just care about gameplay. Can't really tell much of anything from this "teaser", the only reveal is that there's definitely going to be a SFV and it apparently is going to be exclusive to PS4 and PC. Not really sure why it's exclusive to BOTH PS4 and PC and not also XB1, but whatever, I'm getting a PS4 only for Bloodborne now I'll have another reason to get it and another game to play on it.

You know what was nice? When Marvel got caught with their pants down on the Avengers trailer, they fucking acknowledged it with grace and used it to drive the hype for their product.

Yeah all this people judging about it being the same is ridiculous. I could say " Oh... MKX looks just like MK9... How come that Scorpion still has his teleport and spear...". We haven't seen anything yet, the exclusivity deal ( IF true ) is a bummer for Xbox guys though.

Sorry, but they look the same to me. One is just visually cleaner, and the lighting is different. Of course they aren't the same though as the SF5 models are far more detailed, but that is besides the point really. It just looks like a slight visual upgrade.

I hope when the game is released in the years to come that the look evolves a bit more.

I find it funny that the upgrade from the two games is just as detailed as MK9 to MKX and yet there was no backlash or complaining in that case.

I don't see why so many people are hating on SF for updating their game and supporting it for many years. Would people be opposed to MK doing the same I know I would grateful for many years of post dlc support.

THIS! I would so buy a updated version of MK every year as long as the quality is there and if needed there are patches in-between.

I'm surprised the amount off disappointment/negativity that is coming off of 3 seconds of footage. I feel the game looks well polished, and can be subject to change visually. No need to rush to judgement when the game could change drastically 2 years down the road. I say this since any issue that pops up with MKX would be given the exact same response as well (the "the game isn't even out yet!" response).

I'm just glad there's another game SF game coming to next gen. Game looks visually good to me. As long as it plays good I'm fine with that.

Maybe not on TYM(for obvious reasons), but other forums like Gamefaqs and Neogaf have shit on MKX's graphics for not being next gen enough.

I think SF5 looks really early, but I like the direction the artstyle is going.

It looks the exact same to me as SFIV. Also, the inclusion of the JWong/Daigo moment makes me believe the parry system is going to make a return. So far I'm mostly meh about this entry. Capcom needs to step up their game.

I swear you guys try to find the smallest shit to complain about. Just be happy a new fighting game is coming out. Also, lbsh most of us won't even be playing SFV competetively. So getting worked up about it being "console exclusive" doesn't even matter.
