[Stick] Is anyone else like this?

So I just got my first stick today,super excited(MCZ fightstick pro for the curious).I unpacked it and fiddled around and it felt weird,not like new to fightsticks weird,but it felt backwards.

I'm right handed but it felt like my left hand would be better for dextrous button pressing and my right hand would be better for precice stick movements.

Maybe i'm just weird,maybe its from playing GH and RB.

yea like said it just takes time and it wont feel weird
know what u mean bout right/left hand thing,i thought that at 1st also. trying a hitbox made me think otherwise lol

Try playing with the stick to your right and buttons left. I forgot how it's called but apparently some play like that
