Stage control meaning finding ways towards intractables with your character or finding ways to avoid them.

For example I find Shazam's Torpedo to be really good for switching sides with your opponent if they have an intractable behind them. His teleport can avoid some of them as well if timed correctly.

Also Konqrr made a video with Killer Frost I think you guys should check out as you can apply a lot of these punishes to your main

I find zoning heavy charcters like deathstroke and cyborg can get to the left side of the Stryker island map on the bridge just by keeping people out and if the aggresor gets close you are given two unblockable zoning options
