Yeah, I don't know why people are still trying to guess roster number based off the character select screen when the damn thing has been shifted around and shrunk and expanded multiple times since it's reveal.

I have heavy reasons to believe she is gonna be in, even as a DLC….

Not interested at all for any relative of her as new character.
However, I do hope Jade's son / daughter will be a 10 - 0 MU against Takeda

I don't know what the final roster count will be, but I hope the vast majority of unrevealed characters are brand new and from post-MK3 era.

Whole bunch of MK4-MKD characters I want to see, but I also like fresh blood.

Also, what's Erron Black? Is it like a Hornbuckle from back in the day?

The roster won't be 25 slots. This is already said a trillion times.
In one of his interviews, ED BOON stated " Yeah MKX will introduce the most new characters so far, but maybe not as much as MK DECEPTION "

I would love it if it was true but Deadly Alliance/Deception disproved this.

Still, I need my girl MiMi in! She's the only character I care about left, the rest of the roster could all be new as long as she's in.

I agree with another poster about Tanya. She definitely seems like a shoe-in for teased DLC. Wasn't Rain the most asked for character for MK9 and most successful (could be wrong)?

I'd like Baraka in only if he's still stapled back together like in mk4.

Meh Devs said months ago the roster would be "atleast" as big as MK9's...I don't really see how empty select spots are a reliable indicator of anything at this point.

You could say DLC, but I'll take official word over guesses personally.
