Trying to resurrect a tournament that people will remember for a while. I have a few surprises at the tournament so be on the lookout like putting up say .. the new TEKKEN movie on the projector! *ahem*
There will be $1000 Guarantee Pot for AE and I will also add on top of the pot $300 for the GAME that brings out the most players. Though chances are, it will be AE - I just want to bring out other players from other games by giving this incentive.
If you bring 2 friends to play in any games in the tournament, you will get $5 off your entry fee of choice.
If you bring 3 friends to play in any games in the tournament, you will get one free entry to any game of choice + free venue fee for yourself.
It will be a very straight forward and typical tournament featuring the main 4 games: SSF4:AE, MK9, Tekken 6 and MVC3.
There are currently 9 PS3s and 12 x360s and enough 32"+ LCDs to go around for each systems as well as projectors to accommodate the tournament. There will be food and beverages; nothing special - just burgers / hotdogs on the grill and chips / sodas / drinks. (prices for that haven't been finalized but won't be but like $1 or $2 combos; nothing fancy)
As of right now, that's all that's been confirmed. I will get back to you more regarding exact prices, DLC, BYOC setups, and even smaller tourneys like Third Strike or Blazeblue, even Shaq Fu if people are down. It's still up in the air. Stay tuned!
I will also put up a registration link and paypal as well by Friday. I look forward to seeing everyone!
