Road to Nationals #3 :: Nov. 19 :: Arecibo, PR

Hey guys, this is OGM Madness and I’m here to present to you our next big event, the “Road to Nationals #3”. This event will be on November 19, 2011 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico in the awesome comic store of Comix Megazone.

Just like the last tournament (the Road to Nationals #2 in October), this event is part of a bigger event called the “Fighting Games Nationals” being held at the beginning of next year (January 28, 2012). I'll post all the details of this tournament at a later date.

We may or may not provide a LIVE STREAM of this event, due to the low upload speed available at the venue (only 350kb/s). But, like always, expect some brutal new videos of Puerto Rico’s finest kombatants available after the event.

This event will be run by Online Gaming Madness (www.ogmadness.net), a group started by myself in 2010 in order to provide gaming related activities to the community.
Huge thanks to the administration of Comix Megazone (www.comixmegazone.com) for opening their doors to us and allowing us to do these events at their facilities. Please, support them in the same way they have support us with these activities.
In addition, we want to thank Test Your Might for their support and for putting our local kompetitive scene in the spotlight.

I'll try my best to be there, gotta keep that scene alive.

Do we have to pay $20 if we want to pay MK & MvC3?

We don't normally charge this much and we have pretty much being doing tournaments for free (whatever we charge, we give it back as the prize) but for this event, we are trying to gain funds for the Nationals that are next year so that we can make something huge.

Besides, I still think we are being fair, since normally people charge $10 for entrance and $5 per game, so if you only play in one category, you only pay $10 instead of $15, and if you play in 2 categories, then you pay the same, $20.

We will not give discounts for playing in more than one category, sorry. That was something proposed from the beginning, but we decided to not do it, so that we can have a little bit more for the Nationals.
