Release Check and Alternate Control?

Anyone really played around with these yet? Can you notice a difference?

I haven't really noticed a difference other than with the alternate control ON the moves are harder to do. And I am a SF player also. Wanted to get some other input.

I'm assuming "release check" ON means that neg edge is OFF?????

How can ALT controls be harder when you're a SF player? I'm a SF guy myself and i have no problems. Your inputs might be sloppy.

Well, maybe "harder" isn't the right word. They are just longer. For example. Catwomans cat dash goes from bf2 in the mk style to:
b, bk dwn, dwn, f dwn, f. Just seems like longer inputs to get the same move out.

And my inputs aren't sloppy, I can do them no problem.
