Hehe this series is great.
Shao Khan is a cheating little bitch, but he's not terribly hard. I've only beaten him on Hard, not Expert though, so I don't know how rough he is there. Sometimes you just get bad luck and he chain stuns you with his charge or hammer throws or he throws his armor up all the time. This guy is coming at him from the front way too much. I find it's best to just jump over and beat on him while he's finishing is long, slow animations for his big hits.
Also, when given the opportunity to do a lot of damage via combos when Khan taunts, this guy just does a single kick or upper cut.
