it works with those two but both of their teles aren't safe, you're probably better off just blocking them.

Smoke can counter the EH Wake up almost as easily as cyrax can, and without using d1.

Smoke can counter scoprions teleport with his teleport, as it is faster, he can also d1 or d4 into his teleport punch, or standard uppercut.

Ermac can heavily punish this with d4, as his low jab is quite short, and after his d4, you can link in his lift, then jump kick into teleport punch, dash into 2 2 push or x-ray.
