any1 know an adapter thats good that i can use an xbox360 pad on a ps3 console?

No such item exists.

My advice is to get a PS2 pad and a converter to use it on 360 & another converter to use it on PS3.

so no chance of me using my hori pad ex 2 on the ps3? i did find a few converters online but i havent seen any1 with reviews for them. this is what i found so far.

Those are all garbage, to be frank. Dont waste your money!!

I like it...Reptile's 45% BnB is still like butter to me.

Which converter did you get? And do you play pad or stick? And are quarter circles possible or dropped by the converter?

For anyone who has this converter, can you confirm whether or not you have to plug it up BEFORE you start the system, or can you plug it up at anytime while the system is on, like a true plug-and-play item?

This particular converter does work if you plug it in after the system is on, but you have to have the controller plugged into the converter as well, or else nothing works. The eTokki does not have this problem, however, and can even turn on your 360 for you.

Actually there is one that works fine. These current ps2 to xbox console converters have backwards compatibility. I'm using my xbox controller on the ps3 playing shooters and there is no input lag at all.


This model right here. Notice the graphics show ps3 and xbox. Make sure it says both, most just show xbox printed in white.

Sorry for the ignorant question, but the descriptions say you do not need a wired controller. So does that mean a wireless one has to be on while using it or is it just plug the converter, connect the pad, and you're good to go?

no, the eTokki ps2 => ps3 converter does not require a 360 pad. the X-converter does tho.

Resurrecting this thread. I hunted for a "Controller Converter Pro" to use ps3 controller on xbox360 without the need for a wired Xbox controller but I am unable to find it anywhere. Modchip.ca had one in stock so I took it only to see that the product delivered was not the Controller Pro. I have let them know about it and hopefully get a refund for it.

Is there any other converter available in the market that works? Or is it available in stock elsewhere?

there isnt a product on the market that does this or is worth your money. Get a Ps2 pad and the 2 converters stickied at the top of this thread.

youll have to hack it or dual mod it. There is nothing legit on the market.

(or make it a ps1/ps2 fight pad and use the converters as well)
