Overreacting to Balance Patches....

Anyway right now the only balance patches I want to see are

-universal or close to such AA system
-fixing stage hazards in general
-any game breaking stuff

Character wise, the only characters even needing touched right now are Bane, Lobo, Joker, Harley(why was she nerfed?) and Lex could use a tweak too. Don't nerf anyone because nobody's broken or OP or was broken/OP.
But you can AA with every character...

Even through the nerfs, he's still a very solid character.

Yeah, but when people read the patch notes they don't KNOW whether the character they invested in will be solid still or not. They don't know whether this nerf was the nerf that broke the Kano's back or if it was a reasonable, well thought out nerf that maintains the longterm balance of the game.

Scorpion is even worse now, with the tele hitting high. With it hitting mid you could at least get a punish opportunity if you blocked it low. It's not wise try to punish a whiffed teleport when he has meter. Now, you have yo block standing to get a punish and therefore you need to block it on reaction which is nearly impossible. There is no adapting to that; it's a guessing game again. Back in the Scorpion casino. I was so happy this game didn't have a casino...
u dont need to block scorpion tele now , because if u block it , it's not very easy to punish and even if u do u can make only little combos because he is in the air, but when scorpion whiffs his port when u hold D u can punish him with a really big combo..

Scorpion has punishable frames even after landing on a blocked tele. So it is possible with timing to get a full punish.

It's easier to punish the regular teleport than ever...hell, every single character gets a free B3 off a blocked teleport.

u cant make some damage on a guy in the air , black adam for example , i can make 54% trait 1 bar withouth cross up but if i block scorpion tele i will never be able make more 30/35 % of damage

I think you misunderstood. You can literally still hit Scorpion after he lands on the ground from a blocked teleport. Before he can block. As such you can land ANY full combo you want (as long as the starter is <45 frames).

This forum is frequented by competitive players. Competitive players invest a lot of time into the game and like broken things because it increases their chances of winning. Normalizing those broken things will always upset the people who spent a lot of time to learn how and when to abuse those previously broken things. It's the exactly same thing with MOBAs. If you play a MOBA or a NRS fighting game and you go for the most broken shit you can find then you have to know that you are living on borrowed time. If you can't handle that then do what other people do. Choose a mid-high tier character.

broken things are nice, but not all are looking for that. If that was the case, then heck tournaments in mk9 would have like 90 percent kabals. But you are right, when someone gets used to using something "cheap", they aren't going to be happy when it gets nerfed haha, I know that from experience because I didn't want lao's 2 4 low hat to get nerfed, but it did.

Released by "accident" and released "before ready" are too way different things. He was nerfed because so many people cried about him. I'd like to see the source of where you got this "before ready" version of him idea. Seems like an opinion to me and I stand by mine until proven otherwise. Too many people are tossing the word "broken" around referring to the teleport which is just wrong. Overpowered online, maybe, but broken, no. (Again, in my opinion)
The proof? Only season pass owners were able to use him. Everyone else had to wait until this week to be able to play him and the hotfix was released on that same day. I seriously doubt that it was a coincidence.

In the world of science that is pretty far from proof. Weren't you, or aren't you a tester for NRS?

It is, but when people talk about 'proof' there is a pretty stringent definition.

Both sides make sense in the "NRS nerfed because of whining vs NRS nerfed because they planned to all along" argument, its a big coincidence that on the official release day there was also a hotfix for the character, at the same time, there is also a big coincidence in the fact that the most bitched about properties of the character were the ones that were adjusted for the most part.

Truth, justice and the American way.
By your logic, I should be pretty pissed MB staff spin no longer wall bounces.

It was hotfixed on Day 1, which coincidentally, was the release of the character.

I'm sure there would have been so much bitching, but seeing as there is no proof I'm going to blame the community for this balance decision.

The reason season pass owners got it a week early is because someone goofed and released it early on xbox live that week. Therefore NRS didn't think it fair that some people had access to it while the seasons pass owners did not. Makes perfect sense and just as viable "proof" as you have provided. :D

And argue the reason all you want, I still stand by my opinion (<--- there's an important word there) that it was a knee-jerk nerf to appease the whiners that cried all over Boons twitter.
