Rules:

Super Street Fighter IV AE: 2012 Edition

• Game Settings: Versus Mode, 99 Seconds, 2/3 Rounds, 2/3 Games, No Handicap. 3/5 Games for Losers, Winners, and Grand Finals
• If the players do not agree on a stage within 15 seconds, the match will be random stage select.
• Winner may change ultra, but has to pick ultra first after loser picks character.

Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3

• Game Settings: 99 Seconds, 3/5 Games, Default Handicap, Default Damage
• You may not use any glitch that prevents the game from being played. This includes game freezing, game resetting, player freezing, etc.
• Dead body infinites are allowed to gain a positional advantage, but not to delay the game.
• Winner must keep same starting character, but can switch the order of assists.
• You may not use the same character twice on one team.
• If the players do not agree on a stage within 15 seconds, the match will be random stage select. Loser may choose a different stage


Injustice: Gods Among Us

• Game Settings: 2/3 Rounds, Round Time 99 Seconds. 3/5 Games for Losers, Winners, and Grand Finals
• stage select is always double random



Street Fighter 3 Third Strike OE

• 2/3 Matches, 3/5 ALL Finals
• Gill is BANNED
• Loser may choose a new character

Tournament Rules:
- 3/5 Rounds.
- Best 2 out of 3 Matches.
- Best 3 out of 5 Matches in Grand Finals.
- Double Elimination.
- Normal Life Setting.
- 60 Second Time Limit.
- Danger zones are on.
- Random Stage Select
- Winner Lock, Winner must keep the same character. Loser may change characters.
- Random Character Select is allowed, but if the winner wins with that character, they must use that character in the second match.
- Blind pick is allowed.

A dozen games, about 50 stations, all day casuals available for Injustice, MK9, AE and Marvel in the side room. Tournaments for all games, streams are on kombatnetwork and rg's twitch.

Right now expect MK9 at least top 4 to be on KN, injustice pools through top 8, UMK3 top 3, and whatever Smash would like. Everything else on RG's twitch.

Need some hype players. Less than 2 weeks away and not a single response on here and very quiet on FB? Where do I need to go to get your attention?

The Injustice stage rule should be double random every time now that NRS fixed P2 random stage to work correctly.

also Grr needs to know about this cause he's always itching for tournaments, Grr, this even will be the perfect pretty close event that will show you what a major is like, at a hotel, very nice stations for long casual matches, spacious, and just an overall amazing experience. Hopefully you go to this one and then you will be convince to make the biggest effort to make it to NEC in december!

I will make some tag posts. The stage rule has been double random for a while now, I don't know why that's not in these rules but I'll fix it.

I'm tempted to request that weekend off and come to this. Never been to a tournament before...I'd go just for UMK3. Plus Nov. 9th is my birthday....that would be a great birthday present, offline umk3 competition heh

wasnt there once a thread which had an overwhelming majority voting für 3/5 in injustice all the way? when will anyone ever do it, especially now since button checks and the time between rounds are way shorter?

While the players might vote for 3/5, it still doesn't change whether or not it's feasible. It might be possible for this event, but we don't know for sure so we can't advertise it, and then take it away. We have to be out by midnight, we can't really start until early afternoon, we have no idea how many players will show up. 3/5 could be the difference that doesn't allow us to finish the tournament.

I wish Team Yardley could make it, but I think we are going to have to sit this one out. Hopefully we can start coming to events again soon, I miss the tournaments!

i hope you can give it a try. the last Toronto tournament was 3/5 all top 8 at least and it was damn good. also, from what i hear and see injustice top8/3 take the shortest amount of time at every tournament, even back in times of 5 min button checks.

I have been pushing top 8 3/5s at the last several tournaments. I will definitely try to get that to happen at Stick Wars

I hope Injustice players are just getting really bad at RSVPing because this event should be pretty damn hype but I'm not yet seeing a solid response for Injustice. The all day casuals availability alone is worth the $10 venue. There are going to be a good amount of top players there, confirmed. Need more!
