A bit late on the write up again, but better late than never! The second last instalment of MM for season 2 came at a time of high emotions for the Montreal crew. Top tier call outs, execution officers and character knowledge was put to the test, as the crew dove into another round robin tournament for IGAU and MK9.
Batman and Superman were called to the Justice League headquarters making for another week of missing @KRYS9984 and @xQUANTUMx. In his stead, Batman sent Dick Grayson to mop up these other DC characters with the d1 Nightwing tech @Chuckychuck. Catwoman always keeping a watchful eye on her favourite ex bird boy came in the form of @Ecodus. The Justice League wouldn't allow the Mayhem in Montreal unfold without some representative present, sending JL man of the sea Aquaman to keep an eye on things @Mortal Komhat. It was a good thing they did, as SM nemesis Zod made his first appearance in Montreal @CanadianBaconX , begging the question, how complete is the MTL meta? Knowing there was some profit to be made out of all of this, the main man Lobo came in to pick up some bounties @T.roll. As for the rest of the crew, with batman missing, Joker decided everyone else was no fun and didn't show @rehti. Harley wasn't convinced that MM #19 was going to be boring, and decided to come play around @hard_goodbye. Bane and doomsday are both away to study and go home to the west coast, although we look forward to having them back @Pronto @Pest0Swami. Lastly the OG regulators stayed away for another week, claiming superiority in MK9 on the Skype Montreal Illuminate , but deciding not to come show off those talents at the local. Will the forefathers of Montreal Mayhem return before the release of MKX? @Jer @zaf

Injustice:
Hatman making the adjustment to fish man from the man child was apparent this week. Although his excellent reactions and rapid progression are highlights, it wasn't enough to win him whole sets, leaving him 0-5 on the day.
CandianBacon decided to leave Diana at home today, with his ability to IADG consistently he thought, why not just IAZB then? Not working out exactly as he planned, it was fun to see Zod show face at MM. Bacon went home with a 1-4 record, but showed some excellent work with the Evil Kryptonian.
Hard_Goodbye decided to abandon the #meowmixarmy this week. Pulling out another low tier hero, Harley Quinn. The sisterhood love that flows through my blood enjoyed the pick, and Harley ended up with a great first showing at MM, going 2-3, narrowly missing 3rd place with a close 2-3 loss to T.roll.
T.Roll has finally decided to give a character a legit shot. The Drunk Doomsday, the combo Dropping MMH and the low tier twins of Harley and Selina, made way to the second week of the main man Lobo. And what more to say other than.... LOBO! With one of then best showings on the Injustice side of Montreal Mayhem for T.Roll, it looks like the MexiCAN (who is actually American) might have found a characters that mixes well with his level of yolo and patience. In only his second week of use T.Roll pulls off going 3-2, losing only to the two guys who actually used their mains this week. Now only if we could get those tick throws figured out...
Chuckychuck came out swinging this week beating everyone except the famed femme fatal. Proving that the d1 NW strat can be effective, narrowly losing 2-3 to Ecodus in a very tight set, going 4-1 on the day and taking second place honours.
Ecodus came out with a game plan and a serious mentality this week, with his over the top focused mindset, he didn't even flirt with the cute waitress from Foonzo's (only to get shut down... Again...) allowing him and his beloved Selina to come out on top, going 5-0.

Mortal Kombat!
4 men entered the MK round robin. Here's how it went down.
Bacon, following his choice to use an alt for IGAU, he stuck with that game plan using Mr.Shiny Hat himself, Kung Lao. This ended up being less effective as his Sindel, as Bacon ended up going 0-3.
Ecodus was confident for his entry into the MK tournament, only having entered the MK side of MM a couple of times. He proclaimed that all challengers were "free" and that he would gladly "mop up" the competition with his Kitana. This turned out to be the biggest bill of the night, as Ecodus could only fraud one victory over Bacon, leaving him in 3rd going 1-2
Chuckychuck who was feeling confident with his second place finish in IGAU decided he would random select his MK character. It was effective, landing him in 2nd place going 2-1.
T.Roll, who has finally cut the fat in both games, stuck to his best character in MK9. He showed us the way of frame traps and chip damage as he took another first place in MK going 3-0 with Cage.
