MLG x MK9: New York, This Saturday Times Released!

Standings so far:
Pool A:
CD Jr 1-0 (3-1)
Curbolicious 1-0 (3-2)
Riu48 0-1 (2-3)
DetroitBalln 0-1 (1-3)

Pool B:
REO 1-0 (3-1)
Crazy Dominican 0-1 (1-3)
Maxter
KT Smith

Maxter's matches are being delayed because he is stuck in a broken elevator.

Maxter is NOW out of the elevator.

Pool A:
CD Jr 2-0 (6-1)
Curbolicious 1-0 (3-2)
DetroitBalln 0-1 (1-3)
Riu48 0-3 (2-6)

Pool B:
REO 1-0 (3-1)
Crazy Dominican 0-1 (1-3)
Maxter
KT Smith

If Curbolicious defeats Detroit Balln, CD Jr will automatically advance into the money and the single elimination bracket. If Detroit wins, it's possible, though unlikely, for CD Jr to not advance based upon tiebreakers.

If Curbolicious defeats Detroit Balln, CD Jr will automatically advance into the money and the single elimination bracket. If Detroit wins, it's possible, though unlikely, for CD Jr to not advance based upon tiebreakers.

If both CD and KT Smith lose one more time, REO will automatically advanced into the money and the single elimination. If KT Smith goes 0-3 and REO was to lose to Maxter 3-0 and Maxter was to lose to CD, it is theoretically possible for REO to not advance based upon tiebreakers.

and Curbo goes down!
Pool A:
CD Jr 2-0 (6-1)
Curbolicious 1-1 (3-5)
DetroitBalln 1-1 (4-3)
Riu48 0-2 (2-6)

Pool B:
REO 2-0 (6-1)
Crazy Dominican 0-1 (1-3)
Maxter 1-0 (3-2)
KT Smith 0-1 (2-6)

Detroit Balln is in the best shape right here to advance along with CD Jr....if Detroit can beat Riu by a score of 3-1 or better, he will advance regardless of what Curbo does. If Detroit loses he can STILL advance if Curbo loses.

In theory, Riu48 can STILL advance by 3-0 ing Detroit if Curbo does not pick up at least 2 game wins against CD Jr.

Pool B is now essentially over:

Pool A:
CD Jr 2-0 (6-1)
Curbolicious 1-1 (3-5)
DetroitBalln 1-1 (4-3)
Riu48 0-2 (2-6)

Pool B:
REO 2-0 (6-1)
Maxter 2-0 (6-4)
Crazy Dominican 0-2 (3-6)
KT Smith 0-2 (2-6)

REO v Maxter is simply to determine who they play in Pool A, but Pool A is still wide open.

Every player in Pool A can STILL advance under some conditions. CD jr is guaranteed to advance even if he goes 0-3 (he'll have the tiebreak over Curbo)

Hold your horses guys - Curbo is still on the edge of elimination:

Pool A:
CD Jr 2-1 (8-4)
Curbolicious 2-1 (6-7)
DetroitBalln 1-1 (4-3)
Riu48 0-2 (2-6)

Pool B:
REO 2-0 (6-1)
Maxter 2-0 (6-4)
Crazy Dominican 0-2 (3-6)
KT Smith 0-2 (2-6)

The tiebreaker guys is Win-Loss record in GAMES for a three way tiebreak. If Detroit beats Riu48 - no matter hte score, he will have 7 wins, putting him ahead of Curbolicious. In that case, CD Jr will advance as Pool Winner, Detroit will advance as runner up.

If Detroit loses to Riu, Curbo will advance as pool winner based on head to head and CD jr will advance as runner up.

Pools are complete.

Pool A:
1. DetroitBalln 2-1 (7-3)

2. CD Jr 2-1 (8-4)
3. Curbolicious 2-1 (6-7)
4. Riu48 0-3 (2-9)

Pool B:
1. REO 2-0 (9-1)
2. Maxter 2-0 (6-7)

3. KT Smith 0-2 (5-8)
4. Crazy Dominican 0-3 (5-9)

Your Semifinals are:
vVv REO v KN DetroitBalln
vVv CD Jr v VSM Maxter

EDIT: Sorry, its CD Jr v REO and Detroit v Maxter. That's just odd...apparently they're going based on Winning PERCENTAGE, not total wins...so despite the fact that CD Jr always was at least within 1 game of winning (CD Jr went 3-1, 2-3, 3-0), they're overvaluing Detroit's two OCVs. Odd.

I WILL EAT THIS GAME
NINE and ONE? Jeeeezus, Reo...

Maximo, it's time to prove Flawless Victory was no fluke.
Grito estragos, y dejar escapar los perros de la guerra, mi hermano.

Well CD Jr has stuck to his no counterpicking strategy. But while he did beat Shang 3-1 earlier, this is still not a great matchup for Jax.
