Agreed, Kotal Kahn's fine. He takes some work, but he definitely gets the job done.We don't need em.
I'm actually thinking this could be a bit of a larger nerf than I thought. I won't know until I get a chance to play, though. I'm still stuck at work.Yeah as @NB Semi Evil Ryu said it will only matter in a couple of MUs, like Quan Chi with his runes for example.
It'll still be safe against all the characters that can't punish a -8 move with pushback.Kung Jin's overhead frame data has been changed, as well as his f3 (armour beating move).
F2 is now -10, F2,4 is -8, and F2,4,3 is -11
F3 is now -3 (down from 0).
Ouch. People ain't gonna complain about Kung Jin anymore lol. No more safe 50/50,
Ouch indeed. I didn't realize. The damage nerf on its own was fine but mixed with this......Kung Jin's overhead frame data has been changed, as well as his f3 (armour beating move).
F2 is now -10, F2,4 is -8, and F2,4,3 is -11
F3 is now -3 (down from 0).

Fuck yeah it's an 18f overhead launcher. Not safe or cancellable, but still, fuck yeah! I'm a believer!I wonder what Shinnok's new B3 is...
There was a glitch with certain moves like raiden's fly where sz blocked it before it hit the clone because of the hit box. This caused the game to act like the clone wasn't even there and you could walk right through it.SZ clone goes away on block now? Nerfed to the ground.. and wtf if the cooldown on clone now? 2 seconds AFTER it goes away on its own?
Cry > Level up.. its the best way to win.
For some reason, every Grandmaster I've played does that. Literally every one. Ice Klone --> Ice Ball. Forever. And if you try to destroy it with a projectile, you probably get beat out by the Ice Ball. Or they'll throw the clone at you. Then as soon as it breaks, they just make another one immediately. Much salt from me lol.Have to agree, even as a sub zero main and long time character loyalist I think its reasonable, and really if ur playing grandmaster sub in an aggressive way this wont affect u much, only really hurts the subs that sit full screen behind clones,
Good point. Considering how far his normals reach it probably is fine that they're more negative. Just means you have to be more aware in your spacing to avoid being punished. It'll still be safe against all the characters that can't punish a -8 move with pushback.
Would it help if Sub did a D3 or D4 in this particular scenario to lower his hitbox until the clone has enough time to catch the jump-in? I'm just theorizing here in my work office, at the moment.Clone going away on block means that some characters get a blocked jump in punch into pressure or a 50/50 after certain clone cancels. Normally the jump in would be blocked and the clone freezes them, not anymore.
Yes that's true, but it's no longer completely safe against the whole cast and that's a big blow when you consider his others nerf too. He apparently lost around around 8-10% from his 1 bar combos and 4-6% from hismeterless stuff. It'll still be safe against all the characters that can't punish a -8 move with pushback.
I think the cooldown will be the big point. I can't see how the block thing would matter if you don't have stuff like Quan's runes or portal attacks.I'm actually thinking this could be a bit of a larger nerf than I thought. I won't know until I get a chance to play, though. I'm still stuck at work.
My question is -- how do you know that this has anything to do with crying? I feel like people don't give Paulo any credit as a game designer. In this community crying gets better results then learning.
They could of at least fixed the blood totem bug...Agreed, Kotal Kahn's fine. He takes some work, but he definitely gets the job done.
Yeah, I'm more so thinking about the blocking than I am the cooldown. If it's like MK 9's cooldown, this won't bother me one bit.I think the cooldown will be the big point. I can't see how the block thing would matter if you don't have stuff like Quan's runes or portal attacks.
Too much recovery on the clone cancel. In some mud he has to block it or he gets hit.Would it help if Sub did a D3 or D4 in this particular scenario to lower his hitbox until the clone has enough time to catch the jump-in? I'm just theorizing here in my work office, at the moment.
Dude...EX Spark pressure...FOR DAYS!!!shinnoks overhead launcher.. Thank you based NRS.
Now the shinnok bandwagon begins?
I don't think the decay special is the first frame of the jump but maybe it is
