Literally impossible to solve MKX riddles.

Just one of those with * is right, but the list is something like this! Maybe 9 is sub zero.
I though that 5 could be JC (A list due to the clue) but i think 2 is JC.

This is why I said I think he's option selecting the answers. It looks like either he's doing a sloppy job grading or the answers are changing

Yeah, they all matched up perfectly. However no one in this thread had gotten question 3 correct, so from there I had to speculate myself.

Derptile was actually able to solve it by comparing and contrasting the grades I gave of others. The answers are changing? Is there an instance where you think I've graded one or more of them incorrectly? If so I'd be glad to amend it. However like I said, Derptile figured it out just fine, albeit with a little outside help in terms of confirmation.

Reptile is just an ordinary henchman of Kotal kahn, but is unique in being a raptor, which are nearly extinct. Top tier solution, 10/10


By judging your grades, the answer is probably Jacqui or Kung Jin, which make both no sense:

Jacqui is a marine and the unique thing is her being what? Black?

Kung Jin is a shaolin fighter and is unique by being what? Gay?

You know thats bullshit, so im ready for the answers...

i'm aware of that, but the point of a riddle is to solve the riddle, not getting a 10/10 score by analyzing the pattern of the grading. and i feel like some of these riddles have multiple solutions or jsut a better solution than the actual one (see my post above).

anyway, i'm ready to get my jimmies rustled

I had the same thought as you thats why i picked reptile as well... although after thinking more about it this thought is flawed. Reptile probably isnt the last of his race, so he isnt unique. Going by "type of being" this type of uniqueness falls only to Ermac. As Ermac cant be the answer i dont think it has something to do with it anymore.

But i agree... dont see how Jacqui or Jin could possibly be the answer^^

There's 1 I thought I knew based on the riddle, the rest I was trying to figure out based on other people's answers. There were a few that didn't seem possible. I don't have it written down and it's not important to me at this point to go back and find which ones couldn't work. Derptile made his guess with way more graded responses than I did (including one I did trying to clarify a couple numbers I didn't think there was enough data for) so maybe he had more information or maybe I just made a mistake. The only reason I brought up again was because someone else ran into the same thing.

Edit: Just realized you already fixed one when questioned about it by Derptile, we'll after my first comlaint. That might have been the entire problem.. Also, I think you fucked up a chance for some great word play by not making 5 Johnny Cage

You all proved to be a bunch of failures, as promised during the thread's onset. Kudos to those of you who figured the riddles out through tough thorough thought though, as well as arduous deliberation. Shame on you who had to resort to piggybacking off the works of others, but alas I expected nothing less from unlettered worms such as yourselves. You can put your tongue back in your mouth, and wipe up the saliva dripping from your braindead mouth: the answers are here.

The answer:Raiden.

Starting off the list is the insultingly easy riddle. The answer is literally in the line.
Misdirection: Use of the words hell and bug spray insinuate D'vorah or revenants. However the only tangible fact given is that the person states that they are likened to a bug spray hotel. Raid is the most common brand of bug spray, and a synonym for a hotel is an Inn. (Raid-Inn. Raiden. Get it, you idiot? Probably not.) Roach hotels exist, so a bug hotel isn't anonensical concept. Bug SPRAY hotel though is, and so that was a glaring line of interest.

Spies, buzzing, fly green juice and offspring are all clues to insinuation this riddle's misdirection: D'Vorah. However the main clue is in the first line. Living a life donning a face is a concept that is conducive to the life of an actor or performer, who Mr.Cage actually is. While green blood flows through D'Vorah, green energy flows through Johnny's veins, as does his offspring's. Like the buzzing and pestering of a fly, Johnny Cage is considered annoying or bothersome by his allies and foes alike.

The misdirection: Just about anything
This riddle's design was meant to confuse due to its vagueness. However there IS consistency if you only looked close. Aside from the fact that 'grit teeth' is the most obvious clue to Takeda's round loss animation and sound since Bill Cosby's guilt, an overhead flip attack could only mean a handful of characters. 'You've been very naughty, so I want to punish you.' While odd, this wouldn't be the thing to stand out until you couple it with the corresponding lines of 'leather or latex'. This is the particular description of a dominatrix, whose primary toy is typically a whip. While 'dropping it like it's hot' could mean a number of things, the phrase refers to a dance, which Shirai Ryu's MB teleport is quite literally an attacking breakdance.

This was so easy I almost don't even want to explain.
Last line: I have pale skin
First couple: It isn't you who hypnotizes, but I.
Ask yourself how many characters have a 'trance' attack and pale skin.

Misdirection: The contents of the list

Heh heh. So simple yet so devilish. The list items had no correlation to the answer. They could have been anything. The point was that it was a list of some sort. The last two lines clearly point out that the list is mundane, and that the answer could be found by making it NOT mundane. Making the 'list' unique, or SPECIAL was said to give the answer. Making the mundane list a SPECIAL list. While admittedly more obvious if you've played the story mode, due to how the word 'Specialist' is emphasized numerous times with Jacqui, she is still the only character referred to as a specialist, and CORRECTS people when they DON'T call her specialist. Her being a member of the special forces only served to further confuse. This riddle was difficult and obscure, sure, but interestingly enough no one asked for a hint after I offered. It would have ruled out Sonya etc. and made the answer more clear.

This was a give away. The answer was Torr, though I would have accepted Ferra/Torr. Ask if you still can't get why.

The clue states that the name itself is in the text. You just have to look closely. The last word of line 4 and the first word of line 5.There is also a reference to Kano's heart. See it?

Misdirection: Kitana quotes, 'Ice cold'.
While it seems this could reference Kitana or Sub Zero, you are only concluding this based on the words, but not necessarily the facts. Kitana, for instance, does not have white eyes. Respect and insolence are encompassing traits or actual words that Shinnok uses and insinuates with his regal demeanor. But the fact that 'humorous' is in quotations is the main clue: The humerus is a bone in the body. The quotation present a play on words.

Misdirection: Ermac
The first lines give off a we are many, you are but one vibe. Ermac right? Then it says 'teleport'. Ermac again, no? But look: it then says regality is something it chooses NOT to dismiss. Meaning that it actually dismisses the concept of teleporting. What about regality though? It mentions being deposed. Ermac isn't a monarch, so how can be be deposed? A king or QUEEN can, though. The hive and swarm descriptions, in conjunction with the reference to bug eyes and being one and all (A brood mother) but not one and only (A hive network) poointed towards D'Vorah, while ultimately ruling out Ermac. He may posess the soul of a King, but actually states that he is a servant.
