just bought a new ps3 dualshock this is normal?

the pad is new so i need to use it? or this is a defect one?

It might just need breaking in, it's what sucks about non-factory DS3's

Official ps3 pad.
i dont get... the D-Pad work perfect but for jumping backward(left) is kinda sloopy
should i replace it?

Is say yea to the new pad ....if u want a great controller get a ps2 pad and a ps2 ps3 converter

ZAQ wot u mean by resistance cause i recently bought 2 brand new ps 2 pads and they must be dodgy or somethin cause i cant even do pokes wen i want its horrible im back using my broken ps2 pad which actually works better than my new ones ive spent so much money on pads its rediculous

I just bought two PS2 pads on sale for $12.50 each and they work better than any other pad on the market in the past 10 years. And this is coming from someone who has probably spent more money on gamepads than on systems+games for this generation of console. Dualshock 2 is the best pad for any MK, second would probably be N64/Nintendo, Hori EX2 (while it works), then Dualshock 3.

we may have bought em off the same guy did u go on e bay they're brand new but they feel stiffer than they should maybe im not mashin hard enough

FYI when PS2 pad is said, it means REAL PS2 dual shocks. Be careful there is a LOT of fakes out there (Ps3 fakes too)

If I'm not mistaken, you could walk into Wal-Mart and buy an authentic sony dualshock 2 pad for $20. I know they stopped selling them for a while, then they came back, at least at the Wal-Mart by my house. For a while I was buying used ones from game stop and they always had issues.
