Hi. Here's a list of Johnny's whiffing issues. If you've got something to add, tell me.
Block setting: stance and stance hold.
Movement: duck.

[On whom forceballs whiff entirely:]

Frost
Johnny
Sonya
Cassie
Raiden
Jacqui
Kano
Kabal
Kitana
Skarlet
D'Vorah
Kollector
Cetrion

[On whom forceballs whiff sometimes:]

Shang (all forceballs randomly whiff)
Jade (12~forceball whiffs; f4~forceball randomly whiffs)

[Miscellaneous whiffing errors:]

Erron (2nd/3rd hit of f344 randomly whiffs)

Kabal should be in the sometimes whiffs. He has a dumb breathing hitbox. Sometimes both miss, sometimes the first, sometimes the 2nd. It's dumb.

and you can add Erron Black to misc. whiffing. The 2nd 4 in F344 will just whiff sometimes.

I think its funny when people post they have a move that whiffs against johnny and it changes nothing in the gameplan.
Yet johnny needs like 12 different gameplans depending on the character

I labbed this recently and if I remember correctly, the last hit whiffs if Erron is stand blocking the first two hit of the 44 part of the f344 string (so the third hit of the string) and goes into crouch blocking, then the last hit will whiff.

Hi I just checked Shang: it is not random.
If you crouch block 244, F344 it will whiff.
If you crouch block 121 and B34xxBF2 AMP the 2nd force ball whiffs.

It was not random to me.

the worst thing is that given their track record, this whiffing issues will stay forever and will never be acknowledged by any nrs staff member.

In MK12 no moves from Johnny's moveset are going to be able to hit the opponent.

For Erron, the whiff is GUARANTEED 100% if he stands block the first f433 hit and then crouch blocks in the middle of the string.


You all forgot one more thing that whiffs.
