Here is a list of efficiency for Jason using meter, starting with the least efficient use to most efficient use of meter. Let's find out the best way to use meter as Jason and when we should and shouldn't use meter for something.
U= Unstoppable Jason or Relentless Jason with no damage passive
R= Relentless Jason with max passive (1.75 multiplier)
S= Slasher Jason
All= Universal for all variations
BnB= Bread and Butter combo. For U=B1,2,2,x2, 1,1,1,choke = 25% S=? I need help with Slasher. I have never touched him until today and don't know his BnB.
OFFENSIVE USE
BnBs. Instead of using choke replacing it with a metered move
2% U= Bnb with Choke Slam or Crippler or Spine Shatter. 25% to 27%
2.66% U= BnB with x-ray. From 25% to 33% for 3 bars
3% R= Bnb with Choke Slam or Crippler or Spine Shatter. 44% to 47%
5% R= BnB with x-ray. From 44% to 59% for 3 bars
Doing a metered special and it lands naked.
3% S= Shoulder Charge over Shoulder Push. 13% from 10%
5% U= Choke Slam over Choke. 18% from 13%
5% U= Spine Shatter over Back Breaker. 19% from 14%
6% U= Crippler over Tight Squeeze. 19% from 13%
6% U= Temple Slam over Temple Punch 13% from 7%
6% S= Machete Throw over Machete Toss. 15% from 9%
7% U= Corpse Slam over Corpse Grab. 17% from 10%
7% S= Blood Lust over Bloodshed. 20% from 13%
8% R= Spine Shatter over Back Breaker. 33% from 25%
9% R= Choke Slam over Choke. 32% from 23%
9.75% R= Temple Slam over Temple punch 22% from 12.25%
10% R= Crippler over Tight Squeeze. 33% from 23%

18% U= B1 Crippler on hit. 21% from 3%
31.75% R= B1 Crippler on hit. 37% from 5.25%
Doing a metered special and it lands only BECAUSE it was armored.
10.66% All. Naked x-ray. 32% 3 bars
13% U= Temple Slam
13% S= Shoulder Charge
15% S= Machete Toss
18% U= Choke Slam
18.66% R= Naked x-ray. 56% 3 bars
19% U= Spine Shatter or Crippler.
20% S= Bloodlust
22% R= Temple Slam
22% S= Hack n Slash
32% R= Choke Slam
33% R= Spine Shatter or Crippler
Unstoppable only. Using Rampant and armor breaking a fool.
38% U= BnB
DEFENSIVE USE
7.75% U= 2 exact bars for Resurrect. 15.5% health
8.5% U= 3 exact bars for Resurrect. 25.5% health
9% U= heal Corpse Walk
10.5% U= 1 exact bar for Resurrect
Breakers. Coming soon. Based on match up.
Conclusion.
Jason is EXTREMELY meter inefficient by meter burning specials at the end of a combo. His best use of meter comes when he uses armor on an opponent and it lands while they are attacking. Even with that being his best meter efficiency he still is not very efficient in meter. Relentless at max damage is a gimmick and will not happen that often. Take someone like Goro for example if he launches you with his armored punch walk he is like 36% meter efficient where a typical Jason in an average situation is at best around 20% with the use of 1 bar. However a landed combo due to armor break is Jason most efficient use of meter in the game if used at the right time.
Excellent uses of meter for Jason in standard circumstances
