It's the end of THQ

Yesterday a letter was sent out to all THQ employees informing them of multiple game developers being purchased by others.

Game series like Saints Row, Company of Heroes, Dawn of War and Home Front have been snapped up by other publishers.

As of yesterday, THQ is no more.

Any THQ fans here? How do you feel about companies like SEGA, Crytek and Ubisoft being in charge of some of your favourite games from now on?

To be honest, I never really like them. I remember THQ more for their awful PSX games.

Not a THQ fan, only game I played of their's was Saints Row 3. Still sad to see people lose jobs though. Hopefully Ubisoft can do some cool stuff with South Park lol. Ubisoft makes great games.

I never really did keep up with what they did after the N64 days. I mainly remember just killing o much time with WWF No Mercy, which to this day is stillt he greatest wrestling game of all time.

But anyways, sucks to hear many people may be out of jobs. However, I do hope that Crytek picks up Homefront. That IP has a lot of potential.
