I have found, like MK, IGAU has a strange buffer system.
For instance you can input a string but if you put in a df or db motion in the middle of it, a special comes out. You can also tag on a special on the end of 2 hit strings simply by doing a df or db after inputting your two hit string.
I found this especially annoying with Lobo if I wanted to do a Czar grab after 112 or 113 and would get a chain grab instead. Now I find if I do a full 360 spin (f, d, b, u, f 2) after 112 or 113 and I get the cszar grab, no problem.
I was also having problem linking an EX special after a string and getting a regular special instead. I've now got round this by implementing the ex special but double tapping the meter burn button and I get the EX special every time.
Anyone else have bizarre shortcuts they use in this game?
