It very well could be. These shadows are clearly place holder shadows, if they were using the real shadows and Krypto and Starfire/Powergirl/Killer Frost/Poison Ivy and Swamp Thing was on we'd know right away just by looking at their shapes that one is a dog, one is a women and one is a monster.

That's why I think it's pointless to even guess who is who on shadows that probably are not even showing us their real shape.

I hope you're wrong.. NRS has been consistantly saying that they want to keep this game in the DC universe.

I'm pretty sure someone from the Watchmen crew would still count as DC and still be considered a guest fighter since they are from an AU of DC where Nixon is still president and history played out differently.

You know I'm gonna get a lot of hate for this but I'm all for a guest fighter. If you don't want him/her/it then don't spend your $ but if they look fun to me I'm gonna get them cause I wanna have fun. Do I like every guest fighter? No, I was let down by that Assassins Creed dude showing up in SCV, I would have preferred Predator instead but I didn't throw a fit, I just shrugged and played someone else.

I dunno, I thought Freddy in MK9 was a way better choice than say... Yoda/Vader in SCIV. Guest characters can be fine as long as they're not major whatthefucks.

Though I don't care about Freddy Krueger at all. I remember actually being pissed I paid for that in advance. I didn't mind playing against him but I sure didn't care if I ever played him. Just don't fucking care about the franchise.

There very, very, very few instances where being surprised with a guest character would make me honestly happy.

Only guest character I would even consider would be Miracle-Man. Even then it's stretching it. Just stick to what you've got, there are thousands of heroes/villains you could choose from, picking a guest character would be retarded.

What message do they think they send to the consumers by announcing a season pass with 4 extra characters before the game even comes out or the full roster is revealed? They're pretty much telling you "Hey, we could have sold you a game with more content but guess what, we won't, we want you to pay more money to us in the long run to get the complete product you could have gotten on release day. But hey don't worry, you'll get 4 CHARACTERS FOR THE PRICE OF 3!".

dude, they're literally just started working in the first of those characters, they're just saying you will get them eventually. the game is complete by now

This isn't Capcom. They don't actually have the characters completed and already on the disk waiting to be unlocked.

Eh, Colt said they just barely started working on the DLC characters now, so I'd say (since the game is less than a month away), that's it's complete and ready to ship. The main roster is consisting of characters who are finished and related to the main story. Guys that don't fit with the story or are heavily requested might make it in as DLC like PG and Lobo.

It's cool to have plans to add post release content provided it's not already ON DISC or anything like that. I think you guys need to calm down. If you're here, you know NRS always sells the complete package, and anything extra, is just affordable icing on an already delicious cake.
