If you could replace three characters...

Characters being replaced because they weren't important to the story is silly, characters being replaced because they suck and no one likes them is a different story.

Every hero in this game is well known depending on what comics/movies/cartoons you follow. They all have their own strengths and weaknesses in game. NRS did a solid job on this. I can't pick Sheeva tier anymore because it doesn't exist.

Ares and killer frost are the weakest links. I can't believe how useless they are in plot and multiplayer. Can't believe that manhunter isn't a main character, so him for ares spot. . Otherwise , anyone Could take killer frosts 'I'm a computer specialist now' role in the campaign ...brainiac , black canary, zatanna, red tornado,...anyone.

Some of these are just plain funny.

"Remove: Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman

Replace: Atom Smasher, Element Woman, Kenshi"

Lolwut? You can't have a DC game and exclude major facets/pillars of the overall universe, even people like Luthor. Each major hero needs a major villain. It's how they set up the roster(though Flash and Aquaman both are standout exceptions, that hopefully are remedied via DLC). Hence Ares (who I think is actually a lot of fun to play).

Wait what Killer Frost is one of the most fun characters to play(slide, air dash, command grab, parry, ect) and lets not act like she was the only one who had a replaceable role in the story hell she did more than Bane Grundy Black Adam and Doomsday combined

Why Tf would you replace characters? What if someone bought the game for certain characters and then NRS got request for replacements and replaced their character. That would waste people's money. When I got this game I knew I wanted to main joker turns out he's pretty good. I still would've got it if they didn't have him but I'm JS. But
If they replaced him I would rage. This is a dumb thread and you sir are a jackass.

How can they remove thing that are printed on the disc we bought?
Don't think that is possible, but if so and they do it with a character i like i'll never buy a game from Netherrealm again and go full SF.

Don't take this literally, I think he meant it more as "If you could change the roster prior to the game coming out, who WOULD you have swapped out" Not like petitioning for people to be replaced lol

Im fine with the roster, i just wished it had been 28 for more characters. But if i actually could choose:

Raven - freaking Zatanna (Why didnt they do this?)
Bane - Black Manta
Cyborg - Black Canary
Solomon Grundy - Gorilla Grodd or Mirror Master

I don't particularly see how Killer Frost is well known. She's the villain to a D lister, a D lister who isn't even in the game himself. She's not even Firestorm's main enemy. It honestly seems like they just threw her in there because they needed a girl.

She made it in a few Justice League episodes, as well as Young Justice. That's moderately popular, compared to many.

they say Batgirl will be dlc... i sure hope not. last thing we need is a THIRD FREAKIN BAT-CHARACTER. and yes, vote for Kano. but only from mk9 if he has his alternate costume. that one was a keeper

also, has anyone else noticed that the roster is set up in rivaled pairs? Batman/Joker, Flash/Grundy, Wonder Woman/Ares, and so on? (or at least as rivaled up as they can be since im pretty sure Ravens never even heard of Doomsday until now). so ill be dropping a hero for a hero and likewise for villains to keep the roster even

so as for me id replace:
Black Manta for Killer Frost (because Aquaman needs a real rival)
Beast Boy for Hawkgirl (because what? why is she even here?)
Darkseid for Lex Luthor (what good is Luthor in this game anyway?)

Ok I will be pissed if a mk character is in this game. That's just stupidity. Wanting an mk character in this game is stupidity. It defeats the purpose of a DC game. I will be Dissappointed if a mk character shows up in this.

So after finally getting a chance to sit down and play the game, although not seriously, just getting a feel...

I'd replace Ares & Lex Luthor. Mostly because Ares just seems so out of place & LBSH, MMH should have been in this from Day 1. Lex is just corny. Sure his brains & power are his "super" power, but replace him with Zod in a game like this. LL should have been a storymode character only, imo.

my 2 cents.
