This was my first MK tournament since deciding to pick up the game after seeing all the fun going on in the MK room at NEC. I had an absolute blast and it was cool to meet everyone.

Mikemetroid Awesome to finally meet in real life. It’s a shame we never had time to session, but we’ll do it next tournament, and I’ll be an even stronger player then. I hope we’re all still playin’ this game in a few years so we can do our Tequila Shot Matches. HOOOOOOOOO!

Nice of you guys to allow MK2 to be streamed live and even better to allow myself and btbb99 to commentate on the matches weren't playing. That alone made my trip across country worth all the money I poured into coming out there. Next time make sure I get in on UMK3. I was looking forward to playing that (even though I would have gotten spanked.)

AC1984 Nice to see you again and great job in UMK3. Sorry I didn't get to see the bulk of the UMK3 tourney as I was sleeping most of Saturday.

btbb99 What more can I say? The champ is here! You're the MK2 king until someone can dethrone you. I don't know if I'll be back out in Philly anytime soon, but who knows what life will bring down the road. Nice to meet and hang out with your family, too.

summoning King of the combos. Fantastic matches all weekend and you had the highlight of the tournament with two aaRH's on a Mileena tele-kick. The Liu Kang VS Kung Lao matchups we have never cease to amaze and exhaust me. Like I told Brian, I don't know the next time I'll be able to make it back out there. Hopefully sooner than later.

AREZ God of War Nice to finally meet you and put a face to a name. Thanks for hooking me up with the P2P info. I'll try to get it setup so I can play people online more often and get my chops up some more.

Well since WB VI was indeed my first tournament with the community, I would sincerily like to thank everyone there for the great matches and an incredible weekend! I started playing Umk3 almost a year ago, and I was happy to see with my own EYES that the Umk3/Mk2 scene is thriving with such dedicated players.

And now it's time for shoutouts:

AREZ God of War: Thanks once again Eric for all the hardcore training leading up to my first tournament. You made the weekend one that I won't forget and because of that I intend on continuing to travel to tournaments to work on my game......CHEEP DAMAGE and yes I am your 'apprentice' bahaha

AC1984: Simon.....good shit dude. Your Kano tips helped alot from when I first met you at my arcade, to the tournament, and so on. Everytime I play you I feel like I have a shit-ton to learn and it keeps me going. Thanks again!

I also would like to say that thanks to the casuals we played in Mk2, Im gunna work on my game like I used to forever ago.
