I love how this went free2play the same week as DC Universe Online.

Champions online is trash. It was announced going free play well before DCU Online. It was made by the same people that made City Of Heroes and City Of Villans, originally it was Marvel Universe Online but Marvel thought it was trash and pulled out!

Considering it's free to play it's worth a go if you haven't played with a superhero MMO before. I would never have put money into it though!

Yeah I had Champions Online, it was absolute garbage. The gameplay was underwater nonsense. The customization was decent, but what's the point if you can't tolerate the game longer than sixty seconds playing?
