...folks like Kratos, Spawn, Heihachi, Link, Darth Vader, Yoda, Kreuger, Apprentice, Ezio and all the rest that appeared bug me.

I do get most of those, but what's wrong with Ezio? Technically, he doesn't share universe with SC characters, but at least has roughly same style and fits in terms of epoch. I mean, "he could as well be there, just nobody told us before".

Its why I was really against any non DC comic character making it into Injustice. Scorpion didn't ruin Injustice by showing up, but still feels out of place and wrong to me for being there.

Let's be honest here, DC, being inheritor of rabid crisis crossover era, canonically has characters from whatever place/dimension/timeline you can think of to the point of full meta. Is anything even out of place in there?
Well, chances are that I'm talking this because I'm not really a big fan of DC and don't have existing canon sorta cemented in my head so to speak...
