Combo List - Erron Black Erron Black Combo Thread (Updated 15.05.15)

Starting to get frustrated with Erron Black online. Online I gave up njp'ing.

My main BnB seems to be either 211xxdb4, b32u1, f2xxstab

Or 50/50 into sand grenade, followerd by f2 stab.

Has anyone else completely omitted njp's out? I could njp all day long in practice and towers. Online, however, I feel like it's a gamble. If I win I get 10%, if not I take 30%.

I use marksman and not outlaw so I dont utilize b32u1 that often but yes I dont njp in outlaw. way to inconsistent online. Funny however I can njp after ex sand grenade with marksman no problem.

The NJP is too difficult to connect unless in the corner, after b32u1 I go for b2,RC,211command grab

Not sure if this has been discovered yet but Erron can land 211(1st hit)~DB4 in Marksman and Gunslinger for a meterless launcher, doesn't lead to huge damage but it's something.

I've been doing things like
21~DB4, rc, F3~DBF2 24%
21~DB4, rc, 2112~DBF2 26%
21~DB4, rc, 21122~BF4 27%
21~DB4, rc, 211~BF3EX, throw 29%
21~DB4, rc, 211~BF3EX, B1~DBF2 30%
21~DB4, rc, 211~BF3EX, B3/F3~DBF2 31%
21~DB4, rc, 211~BF3EX, 211~DBF2 32%

There's probably more there but that's what I've got :p

Its just like using his f1 into db4 aka sand gust.
Only problem you will run into is most of the cast making it whiff on low block and some even standing.
They are both range dependent and inconsistent with hit or whiffs. Still good tech and combos to know

Well not really since F1~DB4 requires you to be much closer whereas 211~DB4 advances Erron anyway. These combos would only be for punishing anyway unless you feel comfortable enough to hit confirm. From my testing I've been able to hit 211~DB4 every time but F1~DB4 is more inconsistent.

I was also wondering how u were land 211 ex sand sandgrenade on juggle?
Are you doing hese setups on male or female characters. Im having a hard to replicationg these combos becasue of the range midscreen.

You run cancel into 211 then cancel the second hit of the 11 into EX BF3. I was testing it on Scorpion earlier but I'll test it on females next time I'm on. Should hit though.
Edit: Tested on D'Vorah, it does hit.

Yeah it was ex far sand grenade. I was using close. The only thing that sucks about these ex versions are the higher execution for less damage than of you would ride out the 21122 cancel into samd grenade. But for meterless combos its solid

Just do the normal mid one, no need for the far one :p what do you mean about the 21122 sand grenade? You mean it's better just to go for 2112~BF3EX as a starter instead of 21~DB4, 211~BF3EX?

I use far because it has faster startup than mid. I believe 14 frames. mid is like 20 I think. Sorry I mean 2112 ex BF3. I tend to write the names out of the moves out of habit. And yes using 2112 ex BF3 is better. It allows for more setups via hard knockdowns and guarantees higher damage for lower execution; plus it isn't stamina dependent. The 211 DB4 RC setups seem much better as meterless option punishes.

Here are all the marksman bnbs I think are viable. I used raw 2112 as a starter but you can do anything that combos into db2, the only thing is it might change the spacing of the combo. You can also do f13~gun cancel or b33~gun cancel into 2112. I ended pretty much everything with command grab to show max damage but I usually end with caltrops or slide for plus frames.

The one in bold is what I use as my bnb. I think they're his best choice is in terms of difficultly versus damage, but if you can always execute his max damage combos go for it.

2112~db2, f12~dbf2 29%
2112~db2, run, 21122~bf4 31% run makes it easier but not necessary
2112~db2, run, 11~db2, run, 211~dbf2 33% kind of hard

Since marksman is heavily stamina dependent, I think it's important to include non-RC combos in bnb lists, like:
F13/b33/11b3xxdb2, f12dbf2
2112xxdb2, 2112dbf2

In the corner, everyone should be doing 2112xxdb2, b33xxdb2, 21122xxdbf2, it's really consistent even in lag.

Also in the corner, a great conversion off 112 for both marksman and gunslinger is 112, 4xxdb4, 21122dbf2 for like 34ish%
