Tech black adam trait combo reset

whenever i do the 2,2,trait,22, ligtning cage. my combo resets after i do the trait, because all 3 orbs seem to hit the opponent and cause a reset?

First couple of days i was plagued by his tight execution, now im landing his trait and his ex cage into b3 easy. Just practice with him, that's all.

True Im landing things much better as i go on. I guess I'm just used to smoke in MK and his execution was smooth as butter from the first time i picked it up
