1v1 doesnt seem very viable. However the other modes seem good. 1v1 can be fun but some characters are hella broken in it lol.

I only recognize like 2 characters in the entire roster. Are these characters established in other universes (like bayonetta), or are they completely new?

Jack/Baron/Mathilda/Big Bull are from another Platinum game called Madworld. The rest are new characters.
