Whose alternate costume do you think we've seen?

Hmm since a lot of characters died. We might have nether realm versions of them. Quan chi's servants, if you will. Since we never got an explanation on how they're back to life.

You have some serious issues... Besides, His build isn't going to change to a hulking he-man even if this is his alternate.

He doesn't have to be hulked up or on roids. A normal sized build would be fine. I just dont like how weak he looks. He looks like a sissy. He doesn't look like he's ready to fight. Kung Lao and Sub Zero both have great fight stances and it looks like they are ready to brawl. This new ermac looks all stiff and his face shouldn't be showing. I'm still gonna main him, but I don't like what they did to him.

The reason people are speculating that it is a main/alternate costume for Ermac is because the "fan art" was created by a senior character artist at NRS (Bernard Beneteau).

I just wholeheartedly disagree. His build is actually normal* and nothing about him screams "weak" or "sissy" (seriously? How old are you with that one?). On the contrary, he looked TOO powerful in the trailer to the point of being dull.

But, like Eldriken stated, hopefully his alt (or main) is more to your taste.

*I guess, considering the MK universe (where the slimmest male was freaking ripped Liu Kang) maybe not but it is irl.

I think "normal" is more like Kung Lao, but Ermac proportions seems fine to me, what makes him look weak and sissy is his stance imo, and how he performes some of his moves.

I think the Sub-Zero shown so far is the Regime Nightwing of this game.

I think younger Sub is the default and they're messing with our minds just not to spoil story mode.

I mean just look at his force push animation. before it was all badass and manly, and now he's like "talk to the hand bitch" same thing with his hover/levitate move where he chills in the air and can cancel it into things. the way he holds his hands out is very Sindel like, where as before it looked very menacing.

idk how to feel about MKX Ermac. On one hand he's bae and always will be... but on the other hand...

Seeing as Ermac can move things with his mind, augment the power of his attacks with magic and doesn't even walk anymore it's not surprising that he appears to be suffering from muscle atrophy. If anything I think it's a nice touch and is appropriate for the character.

Again, people saying they want Ermac to have a "normal" build now. So you want him to be less unique? Yeah lets just give all the men the same model build and chuck different costumes. That'll be really creative and show diversity among the characters.

Ermac is supposed to be different. He's not just some random man with telekinetic powers.

Yeah I think that's the main thing bothering me....his STANCE. It sucks so bad lol
MK always has weird stances. Look at Sub Zero from MK9. His fight stance looks like a wrestler or something.

I think the problem is they gave him the animations from Raven and MartianManhunter, I think that was a bad decision to portrait a sorcerer/brawler mix that he is.

LOL this is exactly how I feel man! His mannerisms and animations are questionable. He should have the same swag as Ermac in MK9.

Well, he wasn't a bodybuilder on MK9, he atleast had some biceps there.

I think he wants a more "Green Lantern" and less "Sinestro" body type. They dont have to be homogenous just a bit more butch.
