Lets say you want to make a fighting game, but you can only pick members to aid in the work from TYM.

You can only pick 10 peoples, who would you pick?

myself, anti-static, reo, tom brady, vulcan hades, thtb, cptxecution, qwark, and 2 people who know shitloads about programming

plenty of other people. could use some1 with pigs work ethic and tech finding stuff, or some1 like check4900 and tony t

If I were building a team I'd probably get 2-4 acclaimed tournament players and then go through the forums and handpick tech/labmonsters like doombawkz for the rest of the slots...especially the people who have written character specific guides. I know that a ton of tournament placers spend a lot of time finding tech as well as competing, but finding tech and using it are very different disciplines. I feel like the labmonsters are really unfairly snubbed when it comes to the balancing phase.

I would pick:

Lilith for female anathomy modeling
Tom Brady because he knows how to explain anything, and makes everyone fair
Reo because he is fast at recognize metas
Cdjr because he has multiple games background
STORMS for marketing and community Manager
Colt because he interacts with members and he is very creative
Lordofthefly because he understands well fighting mechanics
DecayII for character design
Check to find broken stuff
MKF30 voice actor

Wait, do I want to pick these members to TEST the game or MAKE IT? Because with all due respect to everyone here, there's little chance of "making a successful game" (as the thread title says) with 10 members of TYM. People here are mostly good at playing games, not making them.

Anyway, if it's testing I'd go with Slips, Dizzy, 16 Bit, REO, Brady, J360, Tony-T, ECT McFly, Mayo and Chef. Though nobody would ever get anything done because Chef and 16 Bit are arguing over something...probably Catwoman.

You absolutely need CrimsonShadow for marketing and being a community manager, and I wouldn't pick MKF30 for anything.
