In all fairness, Chris G has been losing the weeklies. He probably trained going into this event hoping to peek at Evo.

People will learnt o blow up the teleport. Deg and KDZ did it fairly well. In 3 more majors it will be just like KL teleport.... some will be able to blow it up and some will not.

I love how the people who say Scorpion is fine has no idea what they're talking about. 4/6 used Scorpion...what does that say? If 4/6 used Superman or Black Adam then all of y'all would be complaining.

Do you not find it strange that the person who played Scorpion at a high level(Deg) also was the best at fighting him?

Is there maybe a correlation?

People are also underestimating how close those scorpion matches where. Other than CD Jr vs. Saltface were Saltface even admitted he had no idea what to do.

You have never paid attention to any of the other tournaments? Up till now BA and Supes have probably been two of the most consistently high ranking chars in tourny's, there have been several cases of huge numbers of Supes in particular dominating the top tier list. And yet there isn't half the attitude towards Supes as towards Scorpion.

As a side note despite the fact that I defend Scorp, I despise the character and his gameplay, I just don't see him as half as strong as anyone else does.

Seriously can we stop with all the "knowing how to fight him" shit. Thats not even the main reason he should be ousted from tournament existence. You can ask people like A F0xy Grampa and myself (I train with Perfect Legend daily) who truly can fight scorpion and we still want him gone. He does not belong and even if you know how to fight him that doesnt make him being in the game any less stupid.

It boils down to the way he plays and the way he makes you play. Its quite possibly some of the worst stuff ive watched when watching a game. I look at it and realize how stupid both players have to truly act. Why should we dumb down our game just because this character can be beat. Thats not the point at all.

There were two Harley Quinns in top 8...more in top 16...is she broken too? Also, we clearly saw people beat Scorpion...it is not impossible. Seriously, when will the NRS community spend more time playing the game than asking for bans and crying for nerfs? And we wonder why the NRS community is viewed as juvenile and one full of cry babies/whiners.

F0xy's argument was that you have to play Scorpion's game to beat him.

Chris G's footsies were relatively uncompromised each time he fought Scorpion, nor did they look like he had to force himself to do anything he wouldn't normally do.

No character gets banned for being not fun to watch or annoying to fight. The only reason to ban him is he dominates and this tournament showed that while he is a great character he is still very beatable. Deg did VERY WELL with Harley, because he knew what to do.

LBSH @Deg deserves MAD props for the way he played. He made great reads, had great punishes, and had overall great fundamentals. Saying he is a scrub for playing Scorpion is bullshit, he got 4th at his first major and along with saltface brought Harley into the spotlight. He is a great player no matter what the Scorpion haters say.

Saying "he isn't fun to watch" is totally subjective. I find him super entertaining to watch, even more with the boos and the hate from the crowd. You guys wanted more hype, wanted a story. Now you got one.

If Scorp didn't have his OP teleport he would be high mid tier...he's not the best character in the game but he has broke moves. Superman and BA are the best characters on the game...you have to expect to see a lot because a lot of people don't want to put the time in. Additionally, you can't replace the fact that the past tourneys also had Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Doomsday, and others...this game is balanced
