I don't mind superman being cheapasaurus, if Bane and Joker worked better. Jokers 212 should be a fucking mid like it says. Banes debuff needs tweaking. He needs better frame data too.

You can get immensely better against your worst matchups by playing single battles against them and setting the AI intelligence to medium, hard or very hard (depending on your skill level) I guarantee that the AI will give you a extreme challenge or ass wiping!

Most importantly, it uses most of the dirty tricks a online player would. Basically, it does prepare you and teaches you what to expect and how to adjust accordingly.

Not good advice. The only thing the A.I on very hard does is react to your inputs. All you can learn from th A.I on very hard is to block certain things and play defense, But you won't learn about your opponents frame traps or shenanigans. The A.I on very hard Superman won't do f23-breath and backdash, then whiff punish you for example.

Maybe not good advice for you, I've actually learned quite a lot from single player battles. As far as frame trap and situational experiences you speak of - that's what practice mode is for. You can recreate the shenanigans/frame traps and go through it over and over in there.

I mentioned the single player because it gives the full picture of what said character can do (not focusing only on gimmicks) but the full spread of a characters abilities/combos. Though you may dislike it, SP is a good primer, it has educated myself and others whom I know that use it as well.

To be honest, I find I learn best just by finding someone who beat me, and playing them again and again till I develop my own strategies to counter them.

There was this Superman who would do F23, trait, Jump and it would blow me up all the time. Now, I learned how to be more careful after that and beat it.

Once you figure them out they are unable to adapt and usually rage quit after realizing that their simple game plan doesn't work anymore. Against a good Superman or Batman you just loose with certain characters. That's why you need to have two main characters that cover each others bad match-ups if you don't want to use high tier characters that can beat everyone else.

This is what I came to say. Sometimes I lose the 1st or 2nd match but after that I see their tendencies and patterns and adjusted. It usually goes something like I'm down 0-2, down 1-3, tied 3-3, up 4-3, up 6-3 or 7-3, they back out.

Sometimes depending on the playstyle of a Superman I may have to switch to my 2nd "mid tier" char to win. I never have to switch my main mid tier against Batman.

There is no secret magical trick. Just keep practicing and hit that retry button when you lose. One step at a time, figure out what they are doing that beats you and work on beating that one thing. At least it's working for me !

Oh wow, I thought you were a condescending Bane player who was pretending it was easy to get in. In reality, its harder and worse than how I described it.

Apparently the second hit is 'unblockable' or some shit. So you can't even use two hits of venom for that. Don't see why you needed to act like this was a big secret.
