What's new

Noob.Com updated and reset with more clues!

Simple I´m not spending what equal to 100$ on the game where I don´t know the basic stuff like roster size and game modes it just seems silly to pre order before I know more or I might end up like the people the pre order Alien colonial marines with a shitty game that worthless.
Games are 65 dollars at most, anything above that is your own conscious decision to spend excess money. Nevermind, didn't know you're from Denmark, apologies.

Also, this a Fighting Game any mode you receive is already above and beyond what you'll get, so I don't understand you're thinking. There's only so much they can do, it'll most likely follow suit of MK9.

I would say if the game hasn't already secured your purchase or totally turned you off, nothing they do in the next month is gonna do it. Either you're into super heroes punching each other in a semi MK world or you're not IMO.

And I don´t really see the reason why you guy care if I pre order the game or not. It NRS PR department job to show me that the game is worth buying/pre order not yours, as for the game modes I have yet to find a place that list the game modes beside the obvious story mode and king of the hill multiplayer.

There's story, arcade ladder, KOTH, practice, online practice mode and mission mode which is like the challenge tower in MK9. I might be missing a few modes, however.

The achievements revealed King of the Hill, Story mode, Challenge Tower with 240 missions? Online practice etc. You are right though, I could care less if you pre-order the game or not.

The time I ordered from amazon it took three weeks for the product to arrive and the fact that the importing of the product costed more then the product was worth.. so not doing that again.

Personally I know I won't buy the game in mint condition, too much DLC already planned for me.
(damn you Spinky at each of your post I loose at least 8s at just starring at your gif)

I like that info usually comes out after I fall asleep, when I wake up I'm all hopeful there's been a character announcement or an update.

I'm a bit worried now that Battle Arena is in quarter-finals we won't see anything new...

They could do a surprise fight after the final for example, like Batman won and a "a new challenger has entered the ring" later we got Batman vs ???.

I don't think there is any person who hates DLC more than I do. But when it comes to Injustice I'm pretty open minded and you should be it as well. Why? Weeeeeeeeeeeell ...

1. For now it looks like you'll be able to buy the game for 50$ (at least it's 50€ in Germany, which is more than 50$, but it's still a damn good price, since usually games cost around 60-70€ here, which is nearly 80$).
So you will be able to buy the game for 50$ instead of 60$, I GUESS! If you pre-order it from Amazon, where it looks like there are some nice deals, you could maybe even get it for less money.

2. There are certain standards when it comes to fighting games ... most of them will offer you the battle mode and everything else will be lacking. Take MvC3 as an example, or Soul Calibur 5. All they have is a battle mode, while the story lacks BIG time. Other cool options lack as well.
MK9 offered a shit load of content and it looks like Injustice will be offering you even more.
MK9 offered you 2 hours of high quality cut-scenes and the devs say that Injustice will have even more. The newest DmC doesn't even have 2 hours of cutscenes and there are some games for the price of 60$ which offer you 4-6 hours of playtime at max!

3. Fighting games offer you a lot man. It's not like a 60$ single-player game which you play few times and then drop it. You can play a fighting game for months and years and all that for the price of 50$? Damn, that's amazing.
Switch up the characters and it's basically a whole new world. Buy the additional characters and you have even more diversity.

4. And the final point ... It's DLC that will arrive afterwards. It certainly doesn't look like NRS has this big plan to milk the money out of their customers wallets.
It feels like they care and that they will offer the customers what they want.
Yeah, it's weird that they had parts of Skarlet on the disc and released it later on as DLC, but hey - you can accept that.
What's unacceptable *drill claw* is when a company makes a game with 12 hidden, basically already finished characters on the disc and with the plan to sell them afterwards. That shouldn't get any support at all.

But a company like NRS who not only tries, but manages to set the standards for fighting games higher and higher with every game they come up with? You should support that by buying it new. They deserve it.

Just my 2 cents.

Yeah I hate DLC with a passion, but for this particular game they can stuff it with DLC for all I care.

I like DLC when it's well done. If it's JUST alternate skins, then it's not very well done. But NRS seems to actually care enough to put really hard work into their DLC.

I hope we see more than just four characters and a few skins. Seriously, I want tons of shit for this game. I don't mind if I end up paying what I paid for my copy of the game on just DLC (and I'm getting the Collector's Edition).
