Well me and denzell thought that'd we'd be for sure able to go to SCR, but now that's a 50/50 chance. (sorry if i put this in the wrong forum area), but anyways we won't know if we can go till like friday 2:00am, so we'd need to drive there and register on site in a timely manner. I really hope things go correctly, the tournament just wouldn't be the same without us, and the other bad thing is our teammates Dab/ Flawedzilla would have to find another ride. Cross yall fingers and hope we can make it out there, bcuz SCR needs all the top players there to make it be as great of a start to the year for mk as possible.

i hope we can, bcuz that'd suck if the terry bros weren't able to attend the first tournament of the year for mk9/ is an evo qualifier/ a lot of good players are coming in/ i want to do my MM with detroit, damn that takes out some of the hype man :(.

In the real world this is called egoism.

While i agree y'all are great (both in terms of skill and in terms of being cool people), the tournament would run and probably be successful whether you're there or not.
For the record i'm not just posting this to be a dick but to tell you to watch your rhetoric generally.

I'd kill for such an opportunity. I haven't competed since August. My team can't go in february, so I'm driving 12 hours to mexico city, alone, arriving 3 hours before the tournament starts and playing with no sleep and no casuals. First place here I come!

um i never said the tournament would be bad or wouldn't be successful haha, i said that it wouldn't be as good as it could be. This is no hollywood/ egoism. I'd think you are aware of how many ppl look forward to seeing us at SCR, dnt even need to put a number on that. For example, there's no way NEC would have been the same without the CD bros in attendance. That wouldn't have caused NEC to be bad or unsuccessful, but it wouldn't have been as hype or great without them, and that is a truth.

I don't think he was being egotistical, he's stating the fact MK would have a better show to show people that our game is legit and still alive, it'd also have better competition if they were there. Plus they're the top WC guys, they gotta hold it down, cus other regions are coming. It's like ChrisG not attending Apex and Filipino champ won it fraaaaay, that would look shitty for EC, Lool.

yep that is how i meant it, i'm not saying that the tournament is nothing without me haha, that'd be ridiculous, many top players will be in attendance and 2 ppl from the vegas crew are guarenteed to go as well, so vegas will still be there.

To be fair, he wasn't flaunting about their skill.
They deserve to be called top players, and him saying he's top is not a form of ego.

I agree that the tourny would not be the same without them, and then that's actually 4 players, terry brothers + dab and flawed,all 4 exceptionally great players.

I personally enjoy seeing tournies where the Terry brothers are present, they are very good at the game.

Would it? M2Dave vs Scar was the original "hype" for dallas, but m2dave never went and dallas was still nuts. same with detroit playing all shang, but he never went, and so on. Honestly when people dont go they're quickly forgotten. By the next tournament noone cares who "was going to go but..."
Yes, we all love seeing you play (as well as interacting with you because as i said in my last post you're great people and great players), but i'm sure other great players will go that will make the tournament interesting. And you never know, if you dont go maybe a random makes it out of the pool you werent in and beats reo or xblades or pig, some top player, who knows.

He also eliminated Perfect Legend at MLG Dallas?

He isn't being Hollywood... he's being 100% real and he's right.

You can probably talk to Alex Valle and he'll most likely work something out for you, you're a Cali local, go ask. No harm in trying. And it'd make a big difference if you guys were there, it'd make it 100x more hype.

Isn't Ballin going? That EVO run back would make the whole tourny that much more hype if MIT went.

not a problem bro, understood. Of course SCR will still be epic, that's for sure, and 2 vegas represenatives will be in attendance, so vegas will be making noise for sure.
