Hahaha, that pic of REO sleeping under the sink in the hotel room.

I woke up that morning and for like the first 15 minutes I thought he had left the room to go sleep in the other one, and then I see him curled up under there.

I wanna see this video you guys recorded at 6am. If it was Saturday night I was asleep by then.

Is that really so odd? lol

And I promise, there's nothing fake on me. Except the ink.
It's odd in the sense that girls can have good interests and hobbies, too! Sadly, I just got used to tuning out girls talking about shopping and bad TV shows :( haha

That's some commitment sleeping under the sink, I think seeing that in person alone would've made the trip worthwhile! Haha

Lolled hard at that pic of REO sleeping under a sink, simply because I've been there before. Well, I cashed out in a sleeping bag inside a bathtub, close enough.

Deep thought inside the bathroom, which is where most good ideas come from.

And speaking of tattoos...

Nice Ninja, did you do the P90X? Or something different?

Amazing, hats off. :D
Thanks, shit sure aint easy! But I'd do it all over again if I had to.

P.S. One of my favorite quotes is from Berserk, bolded for emphasis: "This fight... it is far from over. We are the generals. Protect her while I attack. I am the raiding party, I will destroy the enemy camp."

Nope, I've never done P90X but I have no doubts it's quite effective if you have the willpower/motivation to get through it! For me, I was told 5 years ago by my doctor that my current way of life (at that time) would likely result in my death before the age of 60. He put it quite bluntly:

"If I were a betting man I would put my money on it in fact. You're barely in your 20s and I would have guessed double that based purely on data."

That was quite the wake up call, so I decided to get my butt into gear. My first year all I did was diet and do outdoor activities 3-4 times a week and dropped just shy of 100lbs off myself and got super skinny but had little to no definition. I was what they call "skinny fat." So I hit up the gym and started eating big and trying to put on actual muscle. Did that for about a year straight and gained about 50-60 lbs in total. I was obviously much stronger but again lacked any real definition and was starting to look fat again. In my third year I started cutting again except I kept doing high intensity lifting this time and was able to see my abs for the first time in my life by the 4th month. =)

Ever since then I've been going through bulking/cutting cycles routinely and my progress hasn't really slowed at all. It's basically just become a way of life. And now my doctor tells me if I keep this up I could easily keep walking well into my 80s or even 90s. =)

It's definitely a great example of willpower. My willpower working out is going to the gym now and then. Terrible. Lol

And one of the best quotes for sure. There's gonna be a remake of the anime based on the manga. I'm worried and not. Lol

Well it doesn't exactly look like you're in dire need of it to be honest, I was extremely unhealthy and looked the part whereas you look good as is. However I will say your motivation/desire will scale up proportionately to your results. =) Now that I am where I am, I'm psyched to get in that gym.

Thanks, Nordic. :) Congrats again. Maybe I'll go back to it. It's just lifting weights after a long shift at a grocery store is ouch. Maybe it's lazy talking but eh. Lol Thanks for the tips! Can't argue with your results.

No problem at all, I would personally recommend it, you'll feel a whole lot better about yourself and people will look at you in a whole new light. I can relate to the long hours though, I used to work two jobs, would wake up around 5am and wouldn't leave my second job until 8:30pm-ish. At that point I would try and get my work out in... man I'm glad I don't have to do that anymore. XD

But if you, or anyone really, would like some tips feel free to message me, I've experienced quite a bite in the past few years and have even become a certified trainer in the process. =)

P.S. Battle of the goatees!

I went from 138 to 180 purely off of hitting the home gym and changing my diet drastically. I went to the doctor for an annual check-up and drew a ton of blood and the results that came back made me out to be like some god that descended from the heavens. No joke.

That being said, I do have some definition but I am not ripped. What is your cutting process? (Everything from lifting, cardio, diet and schedule if you will)

Oh and for those that look skinny, don't be fooled - you can still be very unhealthy inside. Trust me.

and no pic. smh...

Nordic/Sequel. Why don't you guys set up a separate fitness thread, since it seems a lot of people are interested in here?

At some point this thread will just get back to silly pictures in here, and ignore the stuff you guys are talking about.

I'd be interested in another thread on the topic myself, since I'm trying to get back into shape after a couple years of letting myself go pretty bad.
