I don't think he should be banned unless EVERYONE who complains about him and says he's so braindead easy to use and is nothing but gimmicks PICKS HIM UP and proves that that's a true statement. If it's so easy, they'd be doing it by now. If you want to play UMK3 competitively you have to at LEAST know how to use Kabal to the extent that you know how to fight AGAINST him.

As I said before (Hanzo *cough*)Broken actually ruins the game and is undefeatable ......broken isn't what YOU can't beat cuz you're simply not good enough.

It remains to be seen I think it is too early to say for sure. I say we hold off even discussing the matter until at least EVO. It will only be a problem if there is a flood of Kabal players dominating the scene. It remains to be seen if we really need to consider this for now there is simply what if.

Anyway, there are respectable top players such as; CURBOLICOUS Slips , and etc. that feel Kabal should be banned. Don't some of you think these guys would know more about this manner since they experience Kabal at the highest level? No one here is right or wrong. Just keep it level-headed and discuss what's best for the community and the game.

not really... in a few months this game will not be very relevant.
Whats the first "major" after Evo... doubt MK9 is there.

I'm voting yes, not because I think he's impossible to overcome but he KILLS DIVERSITY in this game. If you're playing to win, why would you pick anyone other than Kabal? That's the inherent danger in smaller games. In AE? It doesn't matter. That game has a huge following that even the most non-tournament viable character will have a character representative who will place at a respectable level with them.

tl;dr America loves to tier whore and is obsessed with tier placements. Japan does it too, I'm not saying they don't, but you can find those lower tier characters represented very well from Japanese players. It's the old school Japanese mentality and it's just not really applicable in the US unfortunately.

Maybe the only thing that should be banned is ending combos with f4. I really fucking hate that and if I were to patch the game that is what I'd remove, I'd make it knockdown.

Kabal is fine, and no character in this game deserves to be banned, even though he is extremely good, and obviously the best character in the game.

Just let this Kabal bandwagon of hate die out.
