Things I Would <3:
-Shaolin Monks 2, or another platformer, preferably with an out-of-the-box choice of lead characters. A cross between MKSM and Konquest, maybe.
-A spin-off fighter that takes place alongside MK with everyone in the old cast that got left out. A lot of the post-2D era characters' stories and background took place more or less independantly of the "main" storyline, so it'd make sense to give them all something to do to explain what they're up to in the new timeline. You've got enough people left over for a whole new roster, and it'll give all those other characters that a great deal of people either disregarded or never had a chance to experience their own space in which to make their bones. BOX WANTS ORDER VS CHAOS.
. Granted, the story made no fucking sense at all, and I will never understand what could've compelled Kung Lao to ask a monk who was just impaled repeatedly in the chest and face and thrown across the room like a ragdoll if he was okay, but it was too much fun to care.
