OOOOKKKKKK. Cyrax mains, all of you. If what strykie said is true, our character is still top 5. I mean, i think we're overreacting here. Yes, he has no midscreen 80% guaranteed loops with throw mixups, that was kind of a little bit too much. But he still has STANDING armor.
His normals are total garbage, pokes especially? Literally what is good about him now aside from decent meterless damage?

  • Triborg (Cyrax) - Shrapnel-Port now has armor, does 5 more damage, and causes a different reaction on the 2nd hit
  • Triborg (Cyrax) - reduced the stun frames on Net & Advanced Net by 30
  • Triborg (Smoke) - will no longer be invisible for some frames when 2in1 cancelling Away+BP,FP or Towards+BP,FP into some background interactions
  • Triborg (CyberZero) - doing Drone summon while in a combo adds some combo damage scaling
  • Triborg (CyberZero) - doing Dive Kick while in a combo adds some combo damage scaling
  • Triborg (Cyrax) - doing Bomb or Hover Bomb while in a combo adds some combo damage scaling
  • Triborg (Cyrax) - Net & Advanced Net will now miss-fire out if a Bomb or Hover Bomb has hit in the same combo
  • Triborg (Cyrax) - Hover Bomb will now miss-fire after 3 Hover Bombs have hit in the same combo
  • Triborg (Cyrax) - Bomb will now miss-fire after 3 Bombs have hit in the same combo
  • Triborg (Cyrax) - adjusted BP,FP,BP to prevent all 4 hits from being forced to be blocked against some characters
  • Triborg (Smoke) - reduced the initial damage of Smoke Cloud & Smoke Bomb by 2 and increased the drop damage by 2
  • Triborg (Smoke) - doing Dissipate & Evaporate while in a combo adds some combo damage scaling
  • Triborg (Smoke) - Doing Fade-Port & Smoke-Port while in a combo adds some combo damage scaling
  • Triborg (Smoke) - Smoke Bomb is now +5 on block (down from +8)
Dropped Triborg for Goro, anybody have any guides?

Overall a few things are clear from this patch:
  • NRS hates DLC
  • The DLC is too strong
  • Zoning isn't viable in this game
  • Zoning is probably too strong
  • 16 Bit should never have been allowed to balance games
  • There are too many patches in this game
  • We need more patches
  • ForeverKing needs extra shoes
  • Injustice 2 will have Captain Cold
  • I'm hungry

Paulo is like "fuck Tremor in his stone ass y'all". Also fuck Cyrax, though that one was sorta justified. Also apparently, just fuck Triborg altogether (Smoke got his shit damage nerfed wat)

Canary Cry Gapless Pressure
Stealth nerf for Tark Alien hmhis damage is reduced when using rekka grab ender. Used to be 37/36% it is now 29-32
 
That's it. I am fucking done. I am close to uninstalling this fucking game. I am certainly not buying MK11 or Injustice 2 or whatever the fuck they make next.

NRS has NO FUCKING IDEA how to balance. No changes to the characters or variations that still remain DOGSHIT.

Kenshi is still shit.
Jason is still shit.
Jacqui is still shit.
Raiden is still shit.
Ermac is still shit.
Goro is still shit.
Unbreakable is still shit.
Fisticuffs is still shit.
Dualist is still shit.
Hat Trick is still shit.
Inferno is still shit.
Noxious is still shit.
Special Ops is still shit.
Lasher is still shit.
Ancestral is still shit.
Marksman is still shit.

And that's not even getting into actual balancing. Those are just the characters/variations THAT I KNOW OF who have NOTHING, and there is NO REASON to ever pick them. And now since XL has been released the only things that have changed are:

Tremor is now shit.
Kobu Jutsu is now shit.
Bo' Rai Cho is now shit.
Triborg is now shit.
Tarkatan is now shit.
Acidic might be shit too.

What the FUCK are they thinking? Who the FUCK thought BRC needed to be nerfed? Who the FUCK thought Tarkatan needed to be nerfed? And why the FUCK were these nerfs put in place instead of saving some of these COMPLETELY USELESS characters/variations?

MK9 was bad with it's 5 viable characters but at least NRS didn't change everything every two weeks. This game has gotten WORSE over time with DLC characters going from being completely broken to absolutely useless. I can't take this madness anymore.

THEY DON'T LISTEN TO ANYONE. THEY GIVE POINTLESS GARBAGE BUFFS TO JASON AND UNBREAKABLE AND FISTICUFFS WHILE IGNORING THE ACTUAL REASONS THOSE CHARACTERS ARE BROKEN. I DON'T UNDERSTAND ANYTHING ANYMORE. WHY. WHY?

You are delusional if you thought Bo was fine. Most of the cast could not even approach him and his cheap fart cloud crap.
