I also noticed they gave him a F2,2. Was trying to do a f2, 4 and he ended up throwing another punch after the backhand. I only played 2 matches though, and jumped on here to see what others have found out....if he is now able to combo into command grabs....NRS must have been reading these forums! Hahaha, super happy right now.
 
You're right, hahaha, just noticed that. My bad. He also has a new combo string from b1,3 1+3. I wasn't able to do any command grabs off of combos though...every time I tried he would end up doing another move. I was able to do it with b1 though (on hit).

Okay list of Commando Changes i gathered

-From what i checked all normals combo into Cmd grabs once standing this is a good buff for F33 and for getting safe dmg after Ex roll cancel
-B1 now tick throws (This is Game changing imo, think Kotal Sungod)
-Gains new string 22 its -1 has good reach and can be special canceled and it seems to be really good for stagger pressure (Its the last of 112)
-Gains new string ENDER as he can now do B13 Ex 1+3 it is -12

-Knifes still whiff :( (feels like that 22 string jails consistently but i dont know for sure)
-from 32 ex throw combos scale still feels the same
-Ex ball cancel dash NJP still feels tight AF

-B13 possibly has a gap
-Choke didn't seem to whiff from F4 but i havent tested it properly its more than likely still does

There could be more things but these are what i noticed, its a pity about the whiff issue, but overall i think Commando definitely got some well deserved buffs, although its only speculation at this point but Kano feels definitely viable with his new buffs especially B1 tick throw

Since they changed the cancel advantage of B1 to make it be able to tick, apparently B13 now has a gap.

You had me at standing 4 into special throw on hit. It will be glorious.

Cyber can do just fine with that gap. He has the more strings into throw enders out of all Kanos.

So y'all gathered all this from the beta testing?? This is some also news for Commando, but what about Cyber? Will he get more damage on knives? Will his up eye lazer become useful, like stunning them in the air to get a free combo?

Ok I'm slightly hesitant towards these changes. B1 tick is great but no fix to knives or choke (?) seems annoying. I'm going to TRY to stay chill before I yell BANE! Or it's not enough!!!

That being said I really wish I had a code right about now.

I hope they don't kill Cyber with these changes. Maybe it is varation specific I can only hope. Red Kano is iconic and should be his best variation for him.

The gap in b13 is stupid IMO. It's not like commando is going to become top tier or even Kano's best variation lbsh
If anything, it will allow you to bait armor since you know they'll try it, especially in the corner. Or MB Kano Ball into a full combo if you read a button press.

I think Cyber suffers more from it.

Agreed but it's unnecessary nonetheless. Unless they make b13 plus on block I see no reason why it should have a gap.

This is obviously me spitballing, but I guess the reasoning is that because B1 is a tick throw, having the opponent guess between b1 grab or b13 would be a bit much. If they guessed wrong, b13 would blow up armor attempts and backdashes without a gap.

Which would be very strong in the corner. I'm not saying that this is definite, but it's my guess as to why it is the way it is.

Look at it this way: Cassie's b124 has had a gap in it for some time, and people still block the full string.
