So much panic for nothing. Console exclusives are nothing new, nor is Capcom phoning in a sequel.

More to the point, this game is at least a year off and it's success / failure will have zero impact on mkx .

What is surprising is the lack of arcade release. Either Capcom has finally realized western money flows free er than eastern money or there's already an ae upgrade planned.

On the surface you can compare KI and SF like that, but that isn't a very deep argument. It'd be like me having an Xbox being made that Sony isn't making Uncharted or God of War available on my system. Those are titles that the platform holder owns, Steet Fighter (and Tomb Raider) aren't.
I know Microsoft owns rare NOW. But it still feels weird as an exclusive.

Ultimately it doesn't matter which one has more exclusive credibility. The game population always suffers when you limit the systems it's available on. And as competitive players, you typically want the largest pool of players to draw experience from.

Lack of mention of an arcade release is most likely because the trailer is for the PlayStation Experience.

Okay, as much as I'd like to be a condescending about this, I think this is a hoax in some form or another.
You might wanna double check the OP, it said PS4 and PC, not PS3. Besides, the issue with 2 milliseconds of delay was down to sloppy porting, Sony hardware doesn't natively have delay or anything like that lol.
you might have quoted the wrong post. I didn't say anything about PS3.

The stage in the background looks like Yun/Yang's from 3S.
Will Alex return and finally be the new hero he was meant to be?

I'm not impressed. It seems like Capcom's lack of funds and time is catching up to them. Hopefully I'm wrong, but it seems like they are just clinging to the name Street Fighter and not actually making a "new" game. I want the game to be good, but after the initial Capcom community wave, I don't think it will sell that well.

Your mothers main.
I don't see why so many people are hating on SF for updating their game and supporting it for many years. Would people be opposed to MK doing the same I know I would grateful for many years of post dlc support.

I never knew the best way to advertise a new game is to show tournament footage of older ones from the same franchise.
as for the snippets we got? Well it just looked like sf4 tbh,in fact at first glance I didn't even realise it was anything new but then I saw ryu's new thousand wash grey karate suit and threw my hands up in joy.

And here's a....uggghhh... Dailymotion-hosted video that still hasn't been taken down..

Remember, only doing this because it was the only version I could find that wasn't taken down yet. In most cases, friends don't let friends use Dailymotion/Vimeo for video hosting, remember that.

No offense but fuck you if you think graphically and stylistically this:

Looks the same as this:

SFV Ryu favors an action figure while SFIV favors some kind of clay/ink hybrid.

The texturing, muscle definition, clothes, hair, and facial features are all different.

In SF5 it looks like he hasn't which is good, I thought it was stupid how clean is SF4 gi was, dude is a homeless roamer.

I really hope they play up how homeless Ryu is in SFV because I think that is hilarious and alway overlooked.

Visual upgrade from IV to V seems minimal. It's similar to the tekken artstyle while tweaking the sfiv character models a bit. (Looking at Ryu with that statement.) Don't get me wrong I still think it looks good, but was expecting more since it is sfv. However that could be me just wishing that they went with a more sprite look like xrd.

Haven't seen the game moving, but the stills do not fill me with joy. SF I - SF II - SF III - SF IV all looked radically different too each other.

This just looks a slightly different version of SF IV.

And i bet this is set before SF III as well*yawn*
