No, you didn't hear it wrong. It was stated in a few interviews that the story progresses over a 25-year span, beginning soon after the events of MK9.KANO <3. Very intrigued to see what his 3 variations would be. Grappler seems to be one. Zoning another. Not sure what the third would be. Its probably either one TBH, since teh are following the second timeline MK9 and not teh first b/c in the first timeline Kano died and was resurrected by Shao Kahn to be a general in his army in outworld. But since in MK9 storyline and Shao Kahn is "Dead" and since Kano is alive hence the photo, I guess he didnt need to be resurrected.KANO <3. Very intrigued to see what his 3 variations would be. Odds are alts will be used to represent the characters progressions through the years similar to how Jax had an ALT that was presurgery, Shang had a "young" alt, Sub Zero had both Quai and Bi alts, and the robots had their human alts. I wouldn't be surprised if the young/mk4 era uniforms are the defaults for the returners and their alts al will have something to do with what happens to them throughout the story.
