Could Aquaman be hotfixed?

No one other then NRS know the exact parameters of what they can and can not change with a hotfix.
If I had to guess, I would say something like altering chip damage would be in the realm of possibilities.

Would they actually bother to do it? I don't know, on one hand, MKX is probably a much higher priority, but on the other hand, even Boon himself is crying about Aquaman on twitter.

Either way, it would be a real dick move to do it a week or two before EVO.
Ed Boon is a real jerk off the cameras.

I feel like the point a lot of you are missing is how bad the game looks when someone almost won by using almost one move, taking out ChrisG and one of the best players around (King) in the process. Did anyone notice how many people were asking whether or not King and Fox were just bad players (not the WEN'S MAHVEL douches)? Like, Eldriken taking out Floe because he doesn't know how to block D1xxEarthshaker in pools is one thing. ChrisG and King getting counterpicked and getting cleaned up in top 4 is another.

P.S. Go rewatch the last match. Fox lost almost all of his first bar from chip damage

It doesnt matter what stream monsters think tbh.

No.

Just do what everyone else is doing, pick up a pockquaman. I literally took me less than 2 hours.

And.... that's the problem. He's ridiculously easy to pick up and use with little effort as well as being extremely difficult to play against. The game's mechanics favor his tool set more so than any other character (except for maybe MMH) and his tool set revolves around like 3 moves lol. I messed around with him in training mode as well for less then an hour and was laughing the entire time at how simple he is.

Trident Rush makes the game unhype to watch.

Chris G playing quite possbily the worst character in the game and mopping people up is hype.
Maybe everyone shoudl be normalized to do Green Arrow-esque damage values.

I could of sworn Batgirl won CEO,NOT Aquaman.
I think people misunderstand why CEO generated anger towards Aquaman.

It's less about him being too good, and more about a specific match.

For the first 2 rounds, the Chris G vs Deg match had the hype levels of the stream cranked up to 11. It was awesomely insane. It was a great match and people were going nuts to see it. Absolutely fantastic and each match was extremely close.

Then the hype was killed when Deg decided to go from a 5-5 matchup to a 8-2 auto-win by counter picking Aquaman. Hype levels went from 11 to -100. No one was interested in the match since we knew the outcome in advance. Trait out of ice arrow combos, GG.

No one is mad at Deg for doing what he did given the money on the line (we'd do the same)- but that doesn't make the situation any less horribly boring, hype-killing, and dull than it was.

So whether or not Aquaman is OP is not the problem, as much as this character just so happened to completely drain the hype out of, what was up to that point, one of the greatest and most exciting top 8's I've ever seen in Injustice. So I can understand why people are bitter. It was a huge buzzkill…

I mean, did you watch last years Super Bowl? It was like that.

It's already 8-2? Damn. Bring those Jade mu numbers.
The shouting for MB trident is dope though.

I seriously doubt NRS would patch the game, let alone target Aquaman specifically, so late in the game's life. Anyway, it probably doesn't matter because you'd also have to address the two or three other top tier characters in the game. We might as well just not bother stressing over it and just move on to MKX when that comes out.

There's not that many majors left in the year after EVO. Jesus. Just let it go. At least you don't see Superman mirror matches left and right like at EVO 2013.

How is batgirl broke??? If you can't beat her then keep training hard, and don't whine
She's actually quite dumb. I wouldn't say broke since that's up to debate, but she has a meter less vortex that is safe and does a ridiculous amount of damage, and she literally says "f* you" to a major element of the game, which is intractable use.

Not saying she's broke, but it's definitely a legitimate debate.

Her vortex is unsafe if you do her b2u3. You just don't see a lot of people punishing that.

Not everyone has a 6-frame D1 (I don't) -- and if she decides to mix it up, you can end up being reset. So sometimes it's easier said than done.
