So by "bill" do you mean he isn't as good as everyone says he is, or do you mean he isn't top tier? Because I could agree maybe he isn't as good as people make him out to be sometimes, but there is no doubt he is top 5 in this game. People who say Zod isn't top 5 don't know Zod. It's not even a question if he is top tier or not

If you really think about Zod:

-His wakeups are ass
-His traitless mixups are easily fuzzyed
-Traited mixups are unsafe and still whatever

What makes him better is:
+Good keep away
+Good Damage
+Heavy Interactable control


Those kinds of things shut down a lot of the mid-to low tier but once you get higher up, he's not as bad compared to the other top tier. Highly overrated IMO just annoying to deal with it, especially online

Why is Catwoman bad? Not arguing, just really want to know.

She's not bad. She is decent. I would say her core issues are she's entirely based on playing footsies and the neutral game so when she loses that she loses bad. She has very poor walk speed so she has to rely on risks like jump and throwing out normals to get in. If you can out footsie her and shut down those options she's very limited. Her knockdown game is great but without trait she lacks an invincible wakeup and so a lot of characters mess her up on knockdown as bad as she does to them.

His own meterless vortex everyone seems to care about less than Batgirls even though I'm sure his is more safe.
Oh and his Arachnid Sting is a pretty good wakeup, partially if not fully invincible and only -10

No doubt he's top tier. But he's not a contender for the #2 or even #3 spot. There's quite a few higher character than him.

zod makes a lot of characters unable to handle the matchup, i think this game has quite a few lopsied matches, when you think about it, zod 7-3s or worst a ton of characters.... green arrow black adam(spam instant airs, get trait) nightwing lex luthor (spam instant airs, get trait), shazam, hawkgirl.. even superman and green lantern have serious issues vs him...

Why does everyone keep putting Batman so high? Batman loses to Martain Zod and Aquaman, possibly to GL as well. Batman has a shit ton of 5-5's and does not have a single 7-3 matchup, any matchup he wins is 6-4 and he doesn't win that many. Out of all the Batmen at MLG I was the only one to make top 8, and I had to counterpick to get there. Its starting to become increasingly more difficult for any Batman to make top 8 at any major.

This is why I don't talk about Zatanna on the forums. People are so misinformed it's not even funny. If you play against a shitty Zatanna, then yes they'll use shitty mixups which you can react to. Her true mixups are NOT b1/b2.


IMO she's B tier, but I honestly don't care what people think. I'll just prove it come CEO and EVO.

That's why I said ONE of her mixups. I know she has plenty of other mixups that aren't b1/b2
