Ah the complaints about Martian, of course Tym cant just congratulate a player, always got to bring up their character, smh. Dnt care how salty ppl are about MMH, jupiter played well and won. Those who think he is broken or what not, show me what success yall would have with him, bcuz I am sure me and others like mopping up mediocre martian players :p.

thanks, I am not even going to lie, I hated superman so much and talked about him and etc. Now tho, I realize that A. there isn't much point in doing that bcuz every time one character gets nerfed, someone else will just rise in their stead. B. we got a pretty well balanced game and we are seeing diversity we couldn't get from MK9 (didn't see jade, Baraka, csz, and etc. taking being in top 3s really).

I won't bother picking apart your entire statement because the fact that you are still trying proves my point more than anything you've said.

However, I'll take a moment to laugh. Smell my own feces? That's cute. You've definitely shown your sharp wit there. Bravo.

Anyways, the fact that you persist shows that you haven't "progressed" any despite having "time" to do so. You're still in the same spot, saying the same argument to no avail, and continuing to derail the topic. Perhaps you should take some time to reconsider your words next time, maybe form an argument that doesn't base it's entire premise on "things happen for no reason".

1st at CEO 2013 Perfect Legend.
2nd at Seasons Beatings 2012 Perfect Legend.
3 Kabals in EVO top 8 2013, (REO, PL, Detroit), and thank god for DJT's patience and godlike Cyrax otherwise it could have been a true Kabal fest and the amazing MK9 farewell would have been a little less memorable.

That's just off the top of my head, and I'm really not counting all the various top 8's at majors.

Complaining about Batgirl but then being alright with MMH can only be described at fucking retarded.

They do the same fucking things, with the notable exception that MMH is plus or safe on nearly every similarity they have.

Teleport? Safe, and faster, with better tracking.
Zoning? Not even a close contest.
Stopping rushdown? One skill. Doesn't even need to time it. Just put it out there.
Vortex? MMH puts you in about 10 versions of the mixup, all of which are safe or plus, all at his discretion.
Footsies? MMH actually has them, then can increase them to uncontestable every time he uses trait.
AntiAir? MMH has a fullscreen, tracking AA that literally can't miss. Wait, he has two. WHY DOES HE HAVE TWO.
Interactable control? What.

Is it just because you don't understand what you're seeing? Because it looks flashier?
Watching people be ok with MMH because his offense looks cooler makes me wonder how Darwin hasn't caught them yet.

But of course, congrats to @EMPEROR_JUPITER, because I <3 practicality. You chose the right character, and you worked on him, you deserve the win 10x over.
Now it's up to us to either choose him too or struggle against him.

Good stuff to Jupiter, he played really well.

On Martian Manhunter, I don't have too much a problem with him. He's the best character in the game but he could be a LOT worse than he is now. Sorry to say but, Injustice isn't some magical game where you can play any character, it's still recommended to use a secondary to cover your bad matchups, a lot of characters go 5-5 with MMH. Injustice is a Fighting Game, Bad Matchups are a GOOD thing, it makes the game more interesting and entertaining as a spectator. How hype was it when Astronout beat Jupiter with Catwoman?

This is off topic, but on the flipside, I'm somewhat salty about this because it stopped my dream matchup of PL vs Detroit from ever happening at a tournament, three times at that. (not to take anything away from Denzell's unprecedented performance/homework, I'm just sayin' lol)

Also, are you sure PL used Kabal at SB 2012? You might be thinking of Master D?

While this is true, let's not get carried away, Ares, Joker, Scorpion, Shazam, among a couple of others haven't really achieved anything worth a damn in IGAU either. Albeit, I don't think any of them are as worthless as the bottom 6 in MK (people tend to forget where my handle originally comes from :rolleyes:).

Yeah. That was right after EVO 2012 when PL decided that he'll be using Kabal for KL's bad match-ups. I'm pretty sure he used Kabal to beat 16 Bit's Kitana. But now that you mention it, he did go mostly with KL that tourney since he faced Wafflez twice (in winners and losers), and stuck with KL in 3 different sets against Dizzy (winner's finals, GF first set where he reset the bracket, and the second set, which he lost). So yeah, that was mostly KL.
