cyrax can't do 100% offa 1 bar, it has to be 2 bar minimum i believe. and can u point me as to the one ur talking about where u can get 100% if u catch them with a net fullscreen?

I have seen Tony T do 100% with 1 bar. Look up his videos you will find it somewhere I guess lol. He did 100% with one bar off of a naked net, not even JIP 21 net. Just straight up net than 100% combo 1 bar of meter. Idk about anyone else but I think that is hella fucked up lol

Yup. Idc how anyone plays the MU, I believe I play the MU the best. If played at the highest level imo I think it could be 6-4 kabal maybe closer to even. Kung Lao can really be tricky with his teleports and not get cought in ex NDCs. Also Kung laos players forget they have d3. If you get any 21/24/1121/112/11 pressure on hit, you get a free d3 and also because of the pushback from the hit stun you can't get counterpoked for your d3. Everyone is all about risks and try to spin after those pressure strings to catch pokes which isn't worth it. They also try to follow up with another high string. The only string on hit that you can follow up with a 21 is 24 on hit because its +7 and doesn't give you a window to duck. I just think I play it the best. KL players take too much risk and that's their problem. They don't need to take risk vs a character like kabal because kabal will make you pay by putting you in resets and getting pressure/pushing you away and building meter in the process which gives him more opportunities to punish silly mistakes.

He beat perfect legends kung lao with sub zero and that is a 6-4 matchup same as cyrax vs kabal.

I'd say it was still 65% Denzell, 35% Cyrax. But it's thought provoking what the patience on par with Denzell and the full scale knowledge of Cyrax's intricacies (because Denzell really only uses a fraction of Cyrax's corner game right now) would look like together in the long run.

I believe they both do well. But up close, sonya is going to be able to stay in kabal's face more effectively. Also she has armor, which kabal always has to think about. Heck morty almost beat REO in the sets they played, the matches were very close. I played reo a lil with sonya, and once I got in, I was in control of the match (played on rooftop day).

Off the top of my head:




cyrax matchups that might be even but i dunno prolly cyrax wins: skarlet, kung lao, sindel (ok a stretch), shang tsung (only if he did more damage, i have a lot of experience with this one)
cyrax matchups that in my opinion are very possibly even: liu kang johnny cage(really believe in this one) kenshi (could be 6-4 kenshi) raiden
cyrax matchups that are very possibly potential losses: jax freddy smoke sonya kitana sektor(debated calling this a definite loss)
cyrax matchups in my opinion that are sure losses: kabal


kabal even matchups: ehhh maybe kung rao and kitana?? nehhhh 6-4 kabal


kenshi bad matchups: kung lao and kabal
kenshi potential even matchups: cyrax skarlet freddy(okay this is a toughy) (this blind asshole beats reptile and smoke you [ban incoming])
kenshi wrecks all else
freddy bad matchups: smoke kabal kung lao
freddy matchups i feel are even or possibly even wins: skarlet kenshi(no way kenshi wins) mileena raiden cyrax (imo this could be in freds favor)
freddy wrecks all else




cyrax preys on mistakes however so if we balanced the risk/reward ratios of the read scenarios matchups might be different


but at the highest level this beast of a character could be anywhere between 2 and 6, but not better than a character who literally beats everyone else if played to perfection.

we all know rax loses 7 3 to rax, denzell great play is why he survived the kabal gauntlet, simple as that. If there was a team battle between the top kabals and cyrax's (round robin), i'm sure the kabal's would have more wins.
