I hope that I am posting in the correct place and if not, I will thank the moderator in advance for your help in posting in the correct place.
I am revamping my YouTube and Twitch channels getting ready for MKX. I know it's a LONG way down the road, however, I have multiple goals to accomplish by doing this.
For one, and the main reason, I plan to break the Guiness World Record for the longest continuous recorded stream over the internet by an individual. I want to tweak my channels and make sure that my settings are optimal. This will eliminate a false attempt at the record, and will make the stream and videos more enjoyable for anyone interested in watching. I really want to avoid wasting over 36 hours because the stream and integrity of the record attempt was compromised.
Second, I hope to obtain some viewers for personal greed. I would love to have a large fan-base, and hopefully working out the kinks live will help in the long-run. Making a living has never been and will never be the goal. I just figure that I game quite a bit so why not record it? Maybe somebody out there will be interested enough to watch.
All that said, I am asking for your help and maybe any support you could offer. At minimum, if you could take 5 minutes to take a look at archived footage or the stream itself and describe your overall experience. Was there lag, skipping, or any glaring technical problems that should be addressed? Are there any small differences that could be made to the stream? Are there any tips, big or small, that you could offer to make the stream or the archived content better? Again, anything that you may be able to offer would be greatly appreciated, and I will do all I can to let it be known that you have helped and give credit where it is due! I will probably be streaming tonight, 6/8/2014 starting around 11:30 PM EST. Keep in mind, that these are being reworked from the ground up, and much work is needed. Also, all content that is currently on the YouTube channel can pretty be ignored! It is all SD and old!
Thanks ahead of time!
