Wired Controller Options For Pad Users

I've been following the NRS community for about 2 years now, and with the release of MKX, I have decided to start attending majors and competing. I have played on Dualshock 3 for ps3 and play on Dualshock 4 now with my ps4 and love it. But as everyone knows those are both wireless options, and if I have heard correctly, you have to have a wireless controller to compete (going to Kombo Breaker in May correct me if I'm wrong.) I tried to use the new MK pad but didn't find it to my liking, so I was wondering what my options are, or what you guys would recommend. Ideally I would like to use my DS4, so is there anyone who can mod it to be wired, and possibly work on XB1? any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure what the ruling is on PS4 pads for tournaments. Maybe @Rocksteady can clarify the Combo Breaker ruling

I think there was a thread about this. You can remove the battery, making it wired. As for making it work on xbone. I dont think so

No other luck? @C-Sword I tried the mk pad that's similar to the hori pad and wasn't a huge fan. @GGA Dizzy @Rocksteady any word on pads for Combo Breaker?

The PDP pad is not similar to the Hori. D-Pad and buttons feel different.
