Wierd Glitch

So, I was playing the Arcade this morning on the 360, and stumbled upon a glitch.

I was facing Shao Kahn and Had already won a round. The next round we both got down to danger. I threw out my spear and he threw out a fireball. Mine was a fraction of a second faster and I won.

What happend then was the screen just kept flashing from white to black with no animation. Then Shao Kahn was satnding in the middle with his arms up and half of his face was green and the rest normal. There was a big blue rectangle like moving really fast around the screen. Shao Kahn still standing there, the screen stopped flashing and the big blue rectangle froze at the left of the screen. Also the entire game froze. I couldn't go to the guide or press start.

Has anyone else encountered this? It was really wierd.

I have encountered a similar glitch with Kabal in the exact same situation (replace spear with a fireball), although the screen simply turned white on my version from what I remember of the glitch. It happens because the game started the cutscene for Kahn losing just as you got hit with a shot that would kill you, making the game go awry as it cannot decide what should happen.

it happened to me a lot of times in the arcade a couple of years ago...
but the game didn't froze. just the shao death-sequence was all messed up and it played itself 2 times...

Thats what I'm working on. There's just delay when I do it, so itll take awhile to get use to :wink:
